No, you are not seeing double. We did in fact feature some of these same photos a few days ago when we brought you Promotive's 900 HP package for the 997 Turbo, but pop open the hood of these cars and what you'll find is a completely different setup. While the previous package for the Porsche pumped out 900 racing ponies, this new package by Arkansas-based Porsche->ke1 tuner, Protomotive, delivers a much tamer 750hp. Okay, tame may not be a suitable word for an engine that produces 750hp, but this engine setup does provide for a more leisurely ride than the first one, so the use is validated.

In order to obtain the 750 HP output, the tuner is offering less drastic modifications with a modified VTG, custom engine tune, custom transmission tune, TUBI exhaust, and FABSPEED air intake. Next to the engine update, Protomotive also fixed up the exterior with a new wing, air side inlets, new mirror caps, a new front spoiler, grills, and gas cap, all made in carbon fiber.

Carbon fiber is also offered for the interior with the back seat cover, A/C surround, center console, and door panels covered in the stuff.

New performance numbers for the Porsche 997 Turbo->ke571 haven't been announced yet, but we can't imagine that a modified 3.8 liter flat-six engine producing 250 more horsepower than its standard brother would make for a small jump in performance.
