After a few weeks of subtle marketing, Vorsteiner has unveiled details on their new aerodynamic package for the latest version of the Porsche 997 Turbo->ke509. This new package was designed to maximize performance by optimizing the power to weight ratio of the vehicle.

In order to do that, Vorsteiner took advantage of the art dry carbon fiber vacuum technology. This technology allows for a stronger and stiffer bodykit that is also 40% lighter than the components used in the standard model.

The front end on the V-RT gets a newly redesigned front bumper cover made of carbon fiber composite (CFRP), as well as the addition of an add-on carbon fiber chin spoiler and larger duct openings. Things are just added to the 997 Turbo as the fog lights have been removed to improve the car's appearance. The package is finished by forged 1-piece monoblock aluminum wheels and high performance Michelin PS2 sport tires.

With this drastic weight reduction, we can only imagine that the 997 Turbo's performance will be improved almost as dramatically. We'll have to wait a little longer for that confirmation since the tuner has not revealed those numbers.
