We’ve said this before; we don’t know why environmentally-conscious people would even look into beefing up their hybrid, but apparently there are some people who are interested in juicing up the horsepower on the Cayenne S Hybrid while still maintaining a "green" state of mind. Back in June, Cargraphic came out with a performance package for the Cayenne Hybrid and now SpeedArt has prepared one. Of course both tuners started by updating the engine’s performances, but SpeedArt actually gave us some numbers. The Cayenne Hybrid’s V6 engine has been updated to deliver 450 HP and 570 NM from a lollygagging 380 bhp and 427 lb-ft of torque. The result is a sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 6 seconds and a top speed of 156 mph. The package also includes a a sport exhaust with sound switch and 2x100 mm tail pipes, as well as 22" wheels type LSC-FORGED. The car’s exterior is completed by a sporty blue foliation combined with a white base color. The tuner is also preparing two different body kits. Along with these other additions, SpeedArt will also include a new air-ride system and an electronic lowering kit module for the Cayenne. For the compressor motor, a special turbo pressure gauge will be mounted on the car’s dashboard, so that turbo pressure can be observed all the time. This package for the Porsche Cayenne Hybrid seems to be a lot more complete than the previous one provided by CarGraphic. Pricing has not yet been released, but we imagine that if people were to actually supe up their hybrid, they would want the works no matter what the cost. Press release after the jump. Press release The latest innovation of the Porsche Tuner speedART from Rutesheim near Stuttgart is called speedHYBRID( 450 which is based on the new Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid. Please find attached an overview on the Tuning activities done by speedART: The electric mode stays unaffected by the power enhancement. The speedHYBRID( can be driven in the Zero-Emission-Mode as economical and as efficient as the original Cayenne Hybrid. Of course the function of the Sport- and the E-Power-Button stays the same, only that, when needed 70 hp more power for a sporty drive are available.
