2010 Porsche Panamera/Audi R8 Rivage GT 970 by Hofele

Let’s face it, the Porsche Panamera and the Audi R8 have nothing in common and combining them to make one car just makes no sense. However, as insane as it may sound, Hofele Design wanted to give it a try. And the result is called the Rivage GT 970 - a Panamera with an R8 rear.

The aerodynamic package includes bigger and higher air vents, a distinctive front grill from the Cayenne Turbo and the LED-daytime running light / indicator element from the Panamera Turbo. The aero kit also receives a big rear spoiler, new side skirts, a rear diffuser with an integrated central fog light, and Hofele 4-tube stainless steel sports muffler with sportive sound. In the middle area on the left and the right side of the bumper are two air vents with lamellas which break the “high tail” of the Panamera and make the rear more interesting. The package is finished by 22" wheels from the "K-Series".

Hofele is also offering high-speed sport brakes kit with six-piston brake calipers and perforated, inner-ventilated brake discs. The interior gets a variety of different materials and colors.

With this body kit Hofele-Design carries over the astonishing design lines by the Porsche designers and sharpens them even a bit more. This is the reason why Hofele does not use attachment parts but uses complete elements and bumpers which integrate themselves harmonically into to the original Porsche look without being a distraction.

Up front the bumper with even bigger and higher air vents, the distinctive front grill from the Cayenne Turbo and the LED-daytime running light / indicator element from the Panamera Turbo. Thanks to the big air vents the intercoolers, especially the intercoolers for the Turbo, and the brakes get more air supply.

Also very effective is the big rear spoiler which surrounds the original Panamera rear spoiler and gives the car more down force thanks to the bigger surface.

The side skirts give the car a more dynamic note which looks very good on the car.

The rear bumper comes with a rear diffuser with an integrated central fog light. The diffuser has room for the combination with the serial exhaust system as well as for the combination with the Hofele 4-tube stainless steel sports muffler with sportive sound. In the middle area on the left and the right side of the bumper are two air vents with lamellas which break the “high tail” of the Panamera and make the rear more interesting.

In this area an even wider look can be achieved by adding black colour.

All plastic parts are made of the highest-quality & heat resistant „HPG“ material which received the grade “sehr gut” (A) by the German TUEV authorities and are being mounted to the original points of attachment on the Panamera. All parts are reversible.

For the Panamera Hofele offers wonderful and elegant wheels in 22“ from the „K-Series“. These wheels are a perfect match to the body kit. The „Chrono“-wheels are available in the dimension 10J x 22“.

Our electronically lowering module takes care of a „low profile“. On speeds over 80 km/h (50 mph) the module switches back to the serial height to give the suspension its full comfort and reserves on high speeds.

A very effective deceleration is reached through the high-speed sport brakes kit with six-piston brake calliper and perforated, inner-ventilated brake discs.

For the interior Hofele-Design offers a variety of different materials and colours to serve your individual wishes.

I must say that it is already looking so great and fabulous on its body paint and I also noticed that the front design gives more beauty of it.

How can it be that there are two different units yet they are into similar forms. That is very intriguing right? Who’s the victim here? Any ideas?

Its sound so crazy but the output is totally awesome! I like the combination of Audi and Porsche! But i do hope to read about the performance of this car!

I agree with this article; I am bit confused of the title but upon checking its images, well it made me realized that both looked the same. How frustrating, right?

Were it not for the Lamborghini concept and a raft of lighter lotus cars, I’d be a lot more stoked for this. Still.. great job Audi.

I think it might look alright all in one color. The concept of side scoops and ventilation in the rear of a front engined car makes little sense though.

Only a very imaginative creature could pull it off like this one made by Hofele.

The A5 is arguably the most elegant, tasteful design in production right now, the automotive equivalent of a Saville Row suit.

That’s what you get on high-end cars Porsche styling is really superior.

In my eyes, this is a big improvement except for the oddly sculpted side skirts. Still not a pretty car, but much better. Porsche may want to hire some of these people for the mid-cycle refresh. I echo the query by desmolicious.

I agree on that, the rear end looks almost the same as the audi r8 but good thing the the 970HP has already came out.

I never liked that huge rear bumper in Panamera and none of tuners is going to correct this. That car looks heavy even with 22" wheels.

I guess, this is the Ghetto version of the UglyMera.Basketball players and rappers probably lining up right now.

same here, i think they were inspired by the evo side air vents, even labo and focus rs has this vents.

huh? it’s fender has some similarities with the Mitsubishi Evolution. and the rear end air vents is from Lexus LF-A.
