To be the best, you have to go up against the best. So when TechArt wanted to make over the Porsche 911 Turbo, they set their sights on the 0-60 mph time of the Bugatti Veyron.
Equipped with a TechArt power kit, the 911 Turbo’s 3.8 liter six-cylinder biturbo engine was provided with an extra 200 HP and 169 lb-ft of torque, giving the sportscar a total of 700 HP and 649 lb-ft of torque. Unfortunately, that massive increase still falls short of the 0-60 mph time for the Veyron (2.6 seconds), but not by much. The result of these changes are breathtaking nonetheless with a 0-60 mph time of 2.8 seconds, a 0 to 124 mph time of 9 seconds, and an incredible top speed of 218 mph.
In addition to the TechArt power kit, the tuning firm also armed the Porsche 911 Turbo with a sport air filter, TechArt manifolds, TechArt Turbo chargers VTG, TechArt high performance intercoolers, and a carbon fiber TechArt engine styling package.
