  Review

Porsche entered the Chinese market back in 2001 and to celebrate its 10th anniversary, the company has announced a special edition Porsche Turbo S. There will only be 10 units produced, each priced at 3,488,000 RMB, or about $540,000 at the current exchange rates. Sales will begin in June 2011.

The new 911 Turbo S 10 Year Anniversary Edition will be distinguished by a Gold Bronze Metallic exterior paint job with contrasting accents in matte carbon and high-gloss black on the 19" Sport Classic wheels. The car’s aerodynamics will be improved by an Aerokit front spoiler, front lid, and black matte carbon fiber exterior mirrors. The black matte carbon fiber can also be seen on the upper part of the rear spoiler. Each model will be identified by a unique number placed on the right side wheel arch.

The interior pays tribute to Porsche’s motorsport heritage. It combines black leather with carbon insertions and Alcantara, and also features black instrument dials with a golden insertions.

In addition to the Turbo S 10 Year Anniversary model, Porsche will also be opening three new Porsche Centers in Taizhou, Zhengzhou, Haikou, and Chengdu Airport, as well as hosting a number of events across the country, to celebrate their ten years in the Middle Kingdom.

I don’t even need to speak for people to see that this edition is highly elegant. It’s already evident on its exterior. Do we need to witness its renown performance capability?

Very stunning model. I think the color combination was great. I would like to congratulate Porsche for their 10 years of delivering good quality and top speed cars.

The black-and-creamy body paint combination of this one is very striking on it. I also noticed that it had a cool wheel, which add more appeal on this sports car of Porsche.

I like the gold paint job of the vehicle although I can still see its vintage paint job. This would a great way to celebrate an anniversary.

The Porsche 911 has an impressive figure performance. The twin turbo engine of the car has an awesome power output.

I bet consumers and car addicts are bidding for this one. A Porsche 911 Turbo S is a gold for everybody. Plus the fact that there’s only 10 units of this in the world.

Definitely impressive for their anniversary editions, too bad that they are actually producing just a handful of units. Lucky Chinese indeed.

Yeah, there is really nothing much different with this car and the previous one. But I do like the fact that they have actually make this one rather attractive, especially with that color scheme.

As far as I know, Mercedes is already working on the next gen E-Class these past few months. I just don’t know the exact details, but from what I have heard, they will be putting in a new engine on this one.

Wow, the Chinese are really getting a lot of treats from automakers this year. And this one is definitely going to be one of the prettiest that they will be receiving.
