2012 Porsche Cayenne Turbo VC-T by Vorsteiner

  Review

After a relatively busy first few months of 2012, Vorsteiner has been relatively quiet the last couple of weeks. Apparently, that absence from the news only gave them more time to prepare their new tuning programs, like this one for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo. Called the V-CT program, the German tuner has built a new - and pretty extensive - aerodynamic package for the hulking Porsche SUV. If you didn’t notice by now, this program’s pretty stocked with all-new components.

To give an idea of what we’re in store for, the V-CT program is made up of an aero kit that includes a lower front spoiler with integrated brake cooling ducting, new side skirts with carbon fiber blades, and a carbon diffuser section for the rear bumper. From there, the front spoiler can also be specified with either a paintable or visible carbon center section.

For now, that’s all the details Vorsteiner is ready to unveil; more details are expected to be divulged soon. Certainly, it’s something that we’re looking forward to, particularly if Vorsteiner has any performance modifications on tap for a Cayenne Turbo that already produces a stout 500 horsepower and 516 lb/ft of torque.

If they use the V8 engine on this Cayenne, it’s sure that it will release an output of just 500HP.

They just make sure that it was loaded with right components that will fit the price they are targeting.

It’s overloaded with components. Nice one Vorsteiner.

If those intakes are meant for cooling the engine and better aerodynamics, then why need to ask its function on its bumper.

It has too many air intakes. I don’t think Cayenne still needs those.

Whoa! It’s like an adventure, but the only difference is that the bumper spoils it all.

Could the package will enhance not only the appearance, but also the handling and ride quality?

It’s packaging was a bit expensive. Although this can offer great performance than the standard Porsche alone.

Wow are you sure that this Cayenne will be using V8 engine that has 500HP output?
