2012 Porsche Panamera Turbo S by Edo competition

German tuner, Edo Competition , has unveiled a new tuning package for the Porsche Panamera Turbo S . As usual with their projects, all the modifications were generally made under the hood and were enough to transform the car into the most powerful Panamera Turbo S ever.

The changes made to the engine include a new exhaust manifold, new turbochargers, and high-flow catalytic converters and air filters, as well as a stainless steel high-performance exhaust system with butterfly valves. The engine management system was also re-programmed to get best use out of the new hardware.

As a result, the Turbo S model’s 4.8 liter, V8 biturbo engine now delivers an additional 150 HP and 96 lb-ft of torque. This leaves it with a total of 700 HP and 649 lb-ft of torque, up from the standard 550 HP and 553 lb-ft of torque. The sprint from 0 to 60 mph is made in 3.5 seconds and the sprint to 124 mph in 11.4 seconds. Top speed will now be limited to 211 mph.

In addition to the massive engine upgrade, Edo Competition also put in a new set of 22" carbon-fiber-look racing wheels and an Edo lowering module which brings the Panamera’s body up to 30 millimeters closer to the road. The interior benefited from the finest leather and other high-quality materials.

It’s appealing because it sounds highly ideal for something that would give its best to perform, despite the lack of a superior top speed.

Although this has been tuned to become more powerful and faster, Edo competition set a top speed limit, and I think that’s only ideal because Panamera can be out of control.

There have been many tuners for Porsche, and I think Edo competition is one of the best. They’ve made this Panamera Turbo so powerful, but they did not neglect on limiting the top speed.

That sounds very promising. The speed is not a joke, probably that’s why they put a limit to it. I want to see this car run on its full performance.

I like this model. Very professional and stylish. With 700 horse power, It is considered now as one of the winnings prospects when it comes to car racing.

Wow! I like the concept. It’s very stylish and professional at the same time. The front hood talks a lot about the concept. This model takes more surprises on the materials used and on the interior design of it.

The Pamamera was astonishing in the full-speed and full-stop. The sprinting time was awesome as well as the maximum speed. The bi-turbo V8 Engine helps to be more powerful at the 700 horse power.

It’s considered as fast car of today’s generation because it produces the top speed of 211mph. Looking at the exterior design is very impressive for me especially the lining on the side of the car. This will surely hit off the road.
