It's no secret that the Porsche 997.2 911 Turbo->ke509 is the kind of car people always dream of owning.

As one of the fastest and most powerful cars on the market today, this beastly Porsche->ke1 can rocket out of the block like nobody's business. This awesome performance comes from a 500-horsepower six-cylinder engine that allows the car to hit 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 197 mph.

But every so often, even a car as universally lauded as the 911 Turbo still gets the benefit of having an aftermarket tuner willing to do the work to give it even more juice. Such was the case when Pennsylvania-based tuner, AWE Tuning, released its 750R performance program for the mighty German sports car->ke506.

Evidently, that "750R" insignia is an sign that this 911 Turbo pushes out 750 horsepower, a staggering output even for the 911 Turbo's status. But that's what AWE Tuning did, thanks to a slew of company-built programs, including the AWE Tuning 750R Power Package and the AWE Tuning RSR Style Performace Exhaust. From the images that AWE released, we can tell that this kit includes updated turbochargers, new intercoolers, an updated exhaust system and new silicone tubing.

Other than its work under the hood of the 911 Turbo, AWE Tuning also added a new suspension Bilstein Damptronic coilover suspension to improve its handling. Additionally, a carbon-fiber rear wing from Vorsteiner makes an appearance to up downforce, and a set of Brembo 380 mm (14.96-inch) GT brakes on the front and rear of this German sports car.

2014 Porsche 911 Turbo

The recently-unveiled Porsche 911 Turbo takes the heritage of the legendary 911 name to a new level with new styling, upgrades on the suspension, and most of all, improved performance credentials.

Under its hood, the new 911 Turbo now comes with a turbocharged 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine with direct fuel injection, capable of hitting 520 horsepower on the Turbo trim and 560 horsepower on the Turbo S variant with the former hitting 0 to 60 in 3.2 seconds while the latter able to do it in just 3.1 seconds. Top speed for the Turbo S is at 197 mph, a staggering number for a car of the 911 Turbo's configuration.

Proving that the new-generation 911 Turbo S is capable of flexing its muscles against the big boys of the supercar world, the German rocket was able to lap the Nürburgring track in just 7:30 minutes.

Impressive, to say the least.
