Renault Clio was driven by the guys from Koenigseder and they thought they could do better. So they start to design here and there and after some times they came with this. A car with a peaceful look transformed in to an angry hatch. The first time you observe that this is not a normal Clio. It’s clearly that someone played with a cutter through its skin.
The front bumper is new and is now a bit far from the original one. This might be a good thing. Many air-scoops in the sides, a big spoiler in the front, and other two down were the bar is over. Two fog-lamps complete the race-look of the front bar. The headlights were partial covered by some eyebrows but I thought it would look better without them. I feel like they are going to get in to my eyes too.
The side-skirts and the 18inch wheels are very suitable for this car so Koenigseder receives our highest note for that. In the back end they put a new bar and a massive rear wing. The suspension was updated too, by mounting new shock absorbers for better handling. You will ask were the big exhaust tip is? Well is a diesel engine. But don’t worry, there were changes to. The standard 105hp 1,5litre engine increase thanks to a chip to 130hp.The torque climbs with at 280 Nm, all for 660 Euros, while the whole kit costs €1.600.
