Renault today launched the 2008 limited edition Clio Exception, a model that will go on sale starting March. It features black headlamp masks, 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels, extra-tinted rear side windows and rear screen.

The Clio Exception is offered in two body versions: three and five-doors with a wide range of engines with power between 100 hp and 140hp. The prices for the French market start at €16,150 for the three-door version powered by a TCE 100hh and go up to €20,250 for a five-door version powered by a 1.5 dCi 105hp with particulate filter and six-speed manual gearbox.

This limited edition version is available in a choice of nine metallic body colours (Extrême Blue, Dyna Red, Cassiopée Grey, Blue Grey, Cendré Beige, Platine Grey, Eclipse Grey, Nocturne Black, Nacré Black) and one non-metallic finish (Vif Red).

Building on the success enjoyed last year by Clio Exception, with more than 35,000 cars sold across Europe, Renault is pleased to announce the release of Clio Exception2, a limited edition offer which places the accent on dynamic performance, refined comfort and safety.

Based on the Dynamique version, Clio Exception2 boasts an extensive list of additional equipment and features, including part leather upholstery, 16-inch aluminium alloy wheels, extra-tinted rear windows and cruise control/speed limiter. Clio Exception2 will go on sale in France in March, although it will be possible to place orders with the Renault network from February 25. Prices for this limited edition model start from €16,150.

In 2007, 35,000 Clio Exceptions were sold in some 15 European countries. Building on this success, Renault is releasing Clio Exception2, a new limited edition for customers looking for dynamic performance, refined comfort and safety. Based on the Dynamique version, Clio Exception2 features:
