Renault revealed today the first details on a new international status-enhancing family saloon. The Latitude will make its first appearance at the Moscow Motor Show at the end of August and its European debut will occur at the 2010 Paris Motor Show<. The new Renault Latitude features bi- Xenon adaptive directional headlights, chrome insertions, LED technology, and a chrome rear strip. Standard equipment list includes a dual-mode air ionizer with double fragrance diffuser, triple-zone climate control, a massaging driver’s seat, Bose Premium audio, the Renault hands-free card, and apparently more options that have yet to be revealed. The vehicle will feature a length of 4.89 m, a width of 1.83 m, and a height of 1.49 m. Other specifications such as the engine choices will be announced at the auto shows in which the Renault Latitude will make an appearance. We can only guess that it will have a variety of petrol and diesel options to market to different regions. The price for the 2011 Renault Latitude has also not been announced as of yet. In addition to its generous exterior dimensions (length: 4.89m / width: 1.83m / height: 1.49m), Renault Latitude boasts elegant, racy looks. The contours of the grille are flanked by distinctive bi- Xenon adaptive directional headlights, while chrome embellishments contribute to the unmistakable impression of dynamism and status exuded by the car’s overall lines. Its rear-end forms point to ample boot space, and the new car can effectively claim one of the biggest boots in its class. The rear lighting signature employs LED technology and harmonizes perfectly with the chrome rear strip which carries the new model’s name: Renault Latitude. Tailored to meet the demand of its different markets, Renault Latitude’s specification will deliverthe car’s different customers a truly high-end package that will position it as the spearhead of international Renault’s saloon car range. It will be shown at the forthcoming Moscow Motor Show, Russia, and is due to go on sale this autumn in Asia, Africa, Russia, Turkey, Gulf, Australia and Mexico. 14 comments: Renault Latitude well to be honest I’m not that impressed with it, i would rather choose the A8 or the passat than this.
It seems this Renault got some similarities with Lexus LS460L from the front and the C ar even looks like something taken from Jaguar XF. Also, I think it is consider as slotting in between the very low end Dacias and the regular Euro Renaults such as the Megane.
Most of the car manufacturer are aiming their sales on Asia, because china is the most closest country who produces BMW, AUDI, etc. with this shipping cost and taxes will be lessen.
