The French automaker Renault has released a special edition of their best selling Megane->ke1227 available in both coupe and hatchback variants, as well as Clio->ke1021 hatch and estate versions that celebrate their people's adoration for the Fédération Française de Rugby with the XV de France. Starting off with unique badging on the front wing, a set of 17 inch Sari alloy wheels as well as an interior adorned with specific 'XV de France' trim on the dash, FFR embroidered emblems on the headrests, FFR badges on the carpets and satin finished chrome inserts on steering wheel and door pulls to set this stylish Megan apart from lesser Renaults. Both models are on sale starting at €18,000 for five-door Clio 'XV de France' and from €18,650 for the Clio Estate.

For the second year running, as official car supplier to the French rugby squad, Renault has brought out a number of exclusive limited edition cars in the colours of the national team. Within the framework of its association with France's national rugby board (FFR) and with the French national side, Renault has introduced 'XV de France' limited  edition versions of New Mégane Hatchback, New Mégane Coupé, Clio Hatchback and Clio Estate.

These 'XV de France'-badged limited edition versions stand out through their upgraded equipment specification and through the tie-in between their interior trim and the French
fifteen.

These 'XV de France' limited edition versions of Mégane and Clio are only available in France. They went on sale on January 5, with prices starting from €18,000 for five-door Clio 'XV de France' and from €18,650 for Clio Estate 'XV de France'. Prices for Mégane Hatchback 'XV de France' and Mégane Coupé 'XV de France' start from €22,050 and €22,650 respectively.

The Mégane 'XV de France' limited editions are based on the Dynamic versions of New Mégane Hatchback and New Mégane Coupé, and feature additional exterior and interior equipment which deliver even more exclusive looks:

  • FFR (Fédération Française de Rugby) badging on the front wing
  • 17-inch Sari alloy wheels
  • Specific 'XV de France' dashboard trim
  • Specific combined TPE/cloth upholstery with FFR-badged headrests
  • FFR-badged carpet mats
  • Satin-finish chrome inserts on steering wheel and interior door handles


New Mégane Hatchback 'XV de France' also comes with extra-tinted rear glass (standard equipment in the case of New Mégane Coupé).

New Mégane Hatchback 'XV de France' and New Mégane Coupé 'XV de France' both also feature the City Pack which incorporates front and rear parking proximity sensors and electric folding exterior mirrors.

The exclusive appeal of these limited edition versions is further reinforced by the wheeled cabin bag which comes with each car.

Seven body colours are available:

These limited edition versions represent an average saving to the customer of €1,050.
