A TWINGO WITH AN UNMISTAKABLE PARISIAN TOUCH

There has always been a Twingo for all tastes. To avoid humdrum routine, Renault's feisty, practical and connected city car has been available in several attractive limited edition versions. Twingo Rive Gauche follows in the footsteps of Twingo Art Collection and Twingo Walkman® Limited Edition, and targets urban dwellers looking to stand out from the crowd.

For the third year running, Twingo has topped the small city car charts in France, accounting for almost one sale in three. The month of April alone produced 7,100 new registrations. Today, Renault has introduced a new limited edition version of Twingo – Twingo Rive Gauche – which will appeal to motorists looking for a feisty, practical small car with real character. Thanks to its nimble, dynamic handling, Renault Twingo Rive Gauche is in its element in built-up areas and stands out through a number of bespoke exterior features:

  • A sports front bumper, black headlamp backgrounds and front foglamps
  • An Eiffel Tower decorative motif on the foglamp surrounds, door pillars and door handle recesses
  • Pearlescent Black door mirror housings
  • Rive Gauche badging on the body sides
  • Moai wheel trims

The interior features a dark charcoal trim with specific Maco upholstery, plus smart red rev-counter and speedometer bezels and a red Organizer Box ring. Renault Twingo Rive Gauche is based on the Twingo catalogue's Expression equipment level, plus the following comfort-enhancing features:

  • Automatic climate control
  • Electrically operated and heated door mirrors
  • Height-adjustable driver's seat and steering wheel
  • Independently sliding rear seats: Twingo is the only small city car to deliver such a modular interior. When the seats are in their rearmost position, the two rear passengers benefit from a comfortable 230mm of kneeroom. Meanwhile, with the rear seats slid fully forward, the boot capacity extends from 165 to 285dm3.
  • Classic radio-CD with MP3 playback, steering column-mounted fingertip remote control, Bluetooth® and Plug & Music connectivity and audio streaming. Positioned just in front of

the gear lever, the Plug & Music connectivity panel comprises a jack socket and an iPod®-compatible USB port which allows any portable MP3 system to be connected.

Thanks to Bluetooth® telephone connectivity, it is possible to take and make calls via the car's own audio system while keeping both hands on the wheel, where safe to do so. The wireless audio streaming function allows occupants to play and scroll through music stored on a Bluetooth®-compatible portable player via the car's own audio system. Both versions of Renault Twingo Rive Gauche qualify for the Renault eco² signature. The 1.2 LEV 16V 75 and dCi 65 engines emit just 114g and 113g of CO2/km respectively, and both qualify for the French state's €500 eco-bonus subsidy. Prices (in France) start from €11,450 (with the French state's subsidy deducted). Renault Twingo Rive Gauche goes on sale on June 10 in France and Austria. Order books are already open.
