After the Twingo and Clio have received the Renault Sport transformation, the Wind Gordini has made its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show.

Like with the other two models, the new Wind Gordini will be distinguished by a Malta blue bodywork with two white stripes, and Glacier white door mirrors, grille trim, and rear wing. A glossy black roof is also added to refine the look the car, as do the 17" black diamond alloy wheels and "G" badge.

The interior also gets special “Gordini” black and blue leather upholstery, blue and white door straps, a blue leather steering wheel with white stripes at the top, a gear lever with a leather gaiter, and a metal knob with the Gordini name.

Everything under the hood of the Renault Wind will remain the same which isn't a bit surprising considering the Gordini line is limited to exterior and interior updates for the other models as well.

The competition

Ka is offered with two economical, low emission engines: a 1.2-litre 69 PS Duratec petrol engine and a 1.3-litre 75 PS Duratorq TDCi turbodiesel. As for the Micra a very impressive version has been revealed in Geneva. It is called Micra DIG S and is powered by a 1.5 liter four-cylinder Direct Injection Gasoline-Supercharger engine that delivers a total of 98 HP and 142Nm of torque, while emitting only 95g/km for the manual version and 115 g/km for the CVT version. The car can hit a top speed of 112mph when coupled with a manual gearbox.
