2012 RSC Predator GT

German automaker, Rotary Super Cars, took some flak from a lot of people for the design of the Raptor GT, claiming that it looked eerily similar to the design of the Ferrari 599XX. As it turns out, RSC took those words to heart and completely rebooted their whole project, giving their car a new styling and a new name.

The latest incarnation is the Predator GT, a car that looks nothing like a Ferrari now, but has a little of a Lamborghini essence. Some people might be nitpicking about this, but we’re completely on-board with the design of this new supercar, including the aggressive details on the front and back end of the car.

Despite the styling and naming overhauls, the RSC still plans on putting the same monster powertrain under their creation, one that features a Mazda 138 MSP-based four-rotor Wanel engine that produces a nauseating output of 1,184 horsepower. This engine is mated to a sequential 8-speed RSC R-SHIFT transmission controlled by a hydraulic shift system with shift times of 25-35 milliseconds. Given that RSC is planning to build the Predator GT to weigh in at only 1,100 kg (2,425 lbs), this future supercar is poised to have a 0-62 mph time of just under three seconds, putting it in the stratosphere of some of the fastest machines on the planet, including the venerable Bugatti Veyron and the equally irrepressible Koenigsegg Agera R.

RSC originally planned to introduce the prototype of the Raptor GT late last year, but considering all the significant changes done on the whole project, it’s a safe bet that we might have to wait a little longer for the Predator GT to bare its fangs.

Very fantastic and amazing super car, I absolutely believe to the power and speed of this race car. What a great engine ever built for this type of car. I should surely wait for the next evolution or version of this Super speed car.

This Predator GT had the same platform and exterior detailing with an Aston Martin new vantage sports vehicle. Anyway, I’m not familiar with this RSC, but I’m really interested with it, especially on its powerful engine output.

What’s with the wheel of the car? Is it a signature? By the way, the performance of the car is very impressive with 1100 HP! I think this car will be a heavy one because a  lot of accessories were added to the car.

If I am correct, the Wnakel engine is actually the specialty of of Mazda. Well if the developers of this car would actually be able to make it work for them, then it would be a tight competition.

Well, I would say that this one is really tops in the design department. But what I am more concerned of is the performance of the car, I am hoping that it would also be great.

Cool! The platform of this car seems to be unique compare to Lamborghini and Ferrari car and take note its a GT, so we could expect a awesome performance here!

Yeah, I would agree that the design is really good. But I really wouldn’t say that there is no room for improvements on this one. In fact, a lot more can be done to make this car even better.

Literally, the design is perfect. I don’t think that it has to be upgraded or whatever. Plus the performance with that kind of engine is great.

At first, I was not really keen on their choice of engine for this one. But when I learn more about the Wankel, I found out that it would actually be quite suitable for the whole project.

Well, I would say that I was impressed the first time that they unveiled this baby. And now, I am even more impressed with the new version. Just hope that the Wankel engine would deliver.
