Scion will reveal at the Los Angeles Auto Show the 2010 xB Release Series 7.0. Sales will begin in December 2009 at a price of $18,320 for the manual transmission version and $19,270 for the automatic one. A color-matched rear spoiler will be available at a price of $320. Scion will only build 2,000 units of this special edition. The new xB RS 7.0 comes fitted with a four-piece DAMD body kit including front, rear lower lips along with side skirts and a TRD sport muffler on the center of DAMD rear lip. On the interior the xB RS 7.0 will feature exclusive black fabric seats with color-tuned highlights, the RS logo and a leather-wrapped RAZO GT Formula Spec shift knob that delivers a sporty feel. Press release Scion announced today that it will be displaying its latest limited-production vehicle, the 2010 xB Release Series 7.0 (xB RS 7.0) in the Scion booth at the Los Angeles Auto Show, Dec. 2-13, 2009. The xB RS 7.0 will begin arriving in dealerships in December 2009. The xB RS 7.0 comes fitted with a four-piece DAMD body kit including front and rear lower lips along with side skirts. The xB comes exclusively painted in a distinctive color appropriately named Murasaki, which means “purple” in Japanese. The interior of the xB RS 7.0 features exclusive black fabric seats with color-tuned highlights that complement the car’s exterior. The sides of the driver and front passenger lower seat cushions are embroidered with the “RS” logo. The driver is also treated to a leather-wrapped RAZO GT Formula Spec shift knob that delivers a sporty feel. The delivery, processing and handling (DPH) fee for all Scion models is $670 and is not included in the MSRP. believe on the capability of this just as stated that it’s somewhat on the sporty line.
Doug, not a fanatic of this series. Well the notion of getting the driver comfortable was there but I was looking on the front body of this car and I don’t feel what’s sporty on this car as they’ve said on their press release. Although the price is there(affordable I mean), I wont buy that car.
I like the color because I rarely see something like it. Plus the shape, it is like a grown-up Beetle by Volkswagen, this is when you look on the side angle. By the way, may I know the purpose of the color-keyed rear spoiler?
