The new León is here. The arrival of the second generation León sees SEAT launch the third model in its all-new product line-up following on from the Altea and Toledo. The characteristic traits of the brand’s new model image are plain to see in both the Altea and Toledo and now the new Leon. The SEAT Salsa concept car unveiled in 2000 has been the inspiration for the Spanish manufacturer in terms of styling ever since, turning it into automotive reality.

Not content with winning the Dunlop MSA BTCC Manufacturers’ Championship this year, SEAT is proving its sporty credentials yet again, with the availability of the advanced DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox) on petrol FR versions of both the Leon and Altea.

The Paris Motor Show, which will be held from 28 September to 15 October, is the backdrop chosen by SEAT for the worldwide presentation of its new model Altea XL, the latest in the SEAT range.
The SEAT Altea XL retains the sporty, innovative silhouette that has characterised the SEAT Altea since the beginning. However, the new model is geared to families that require more interior roominess and load capacity, as well as a level of safety that is tops in its category.

The London Motor Show, being held from 18 to 30 July, is the backdrop chosen by SEAT to unveil its most powerful car to date – the León Cupra. Its 240 hp signals a landmark in the history of the Spanish maker, and the presentation of this model also coincides with the celebration of the SEAT León’s sporting success, not only at the World Touring Car Championship, but also at the British Touring Car Championship, where SEAT leads both classifications.
