Every year, Saleen heads over to Las Vegas to bring a new custom modded Mustang to the SEMA Auto Show. A few years ago, they bought the S281 Mustang. Last year, it was a custom S302 Mustang with custom colors and plenty of carbon fiber. This year, Saleen has prepared a custom 302 Speedster for the biggest aftermarket auto show in the world, marking the first time the 302 Speedster was accessorized with a number of options.
This particular model was definitely dressed to impress, thanks to a new Matte Black paint finish, complimented by the prevalent use of carbon fiber rocker panels. The subtle look of the S302 Speedster can be substituted for something a little more gregarious if customers feel like it. In place of the Matte Black finish, other can choose from Igniter Orange, Octane Red, Silver Shield, and Motor City Blue. Rounding out the modifications done on the S302 Speedster include a new carbon fiber chin splitter, a carbon fiber rear wing, and a new set of 7-spoke wheels.
When Hyundai unveiled the new Veloster they announced it has been designed with young clientele in mind. And, as just another proof that this car can be very playful, the company has unveiled at the SEMA Show three customized Hyundai Velosters designed by RIDES Magazine. The cars
represent the passion points of music, technology and gaming.
The first one, Veloster Gaming features a very cool BASF Envy Green paint combined with custom Satin Black & Envy Green headlights and smoked rear taillights. There is also minor body kit that includes front lip, side skirts and rear bumper mesh vents but also a Ferrari 458-insipired three-pipe exhaust. The car sits on a new set of 19-inch Monotec T10 forged wheels with Envy Green brake calipers.
But the most impressive changes have been made on the interior. In here the tuner has added black vinyl, carbon fiber & Suede seats, dash
& door panels, Sparco Road Chrono racing seats, green stitched steering wheel, Black Suede headliner and Envy Green painted trim pieces.
And because this is a "Gaming" car it has received a 40-inch Samsung LED 3D TV, motorized platform with Xbox360 custom colored by Colorware, four custom controllers, Xbox360 controller charging base, video game holder, Kinect motion sensor, JL Audio HD amplifier & evolution speakers, Green LED lighting and two 7-inch monitors molded in rear seat back.
Kia’s presence at the 2011 SEMA Auto Show has been all about sports-inspired cars. The Optima Hybrid Griffin featured a basketball theme and the Kia Forte Hat Trick comes complete with a hockey theme, named after the act of a player scoring three goals in a single match. That feat is then followed by fans throwing their hats onto the ice.
Speaking of ice, the Forte Hat Trick is painted in a custom ice-metallic gray exterior paint and sits on a new set of 19" blue alloy wheels. Developed by Antenna, the car has also received a custom body kit and Forte Koup front bumper with carbon fiber accents and LED "hockey stick" fog lights, a quad-tipped exhaust, carbon fiber roof material, and a lowered suspension. The headliner features a built-in hockey coach’s play board and the rear cargo area features built-in compartments that house four carbon fiber hockey sticks and two jerseys color matched to the exterior of the car.
The interior also received a sporty makeover with two bucket seats with custom upholstery, custom-molded sports bottle drink holders in the center console, and a mini air hockey table mounted in the rear hatch area. The coolest part about the interior is the TVs mounted in the front seat headrests and wired to a Microsoft X-Box video game console featuring EA Sports NHL12 video game.

We have seen plenty of customized Camaros and Mustangs at the 2011 SEMA Auto Show, but it’s high time to take a look at other cars displayed in Las Vegas. For example, Honda Factory Performance has brought a very cool Accord Coupe V6 Concept. The concept was built to demonstrate the performance potential of the Accord V6 coupe, as well as to keep customers interested in the model. The bad news is that Honda has no current production plans for the concept.
The Accord Coupe V6 HFP Concept is built on a stock 3.5-liter V6 engine model painted in a very cool white exterior color. The only difference is that this model gets a supercharger, a performance air intake, and a new exhaust system. All of these updates will increase the engine output to an impressive 335 HP and 285 lb-ft of torque (up 64 HP and 34 lb-ft versus the stock car).
The Genesis Hurricane SC made its debut today at the SEMA Show next to a very impressive Hyundai line-up. The new model has been developed in cooperation with Magnuson Products, Rhys Millen Racing, Harman International and Torvec Inc. and is just another proof of how cool the Genesis Coupe can be.
Magnuson was responsible for the engine upgrades. They have equipped the 3.8 liter V-6 engine with a liquid to air intercooler for a total output of more than 450 HP. Torvec Inc. has been developing its IsoTorque differential with improved handling and traction capability.
Rhys Millen Racing (RMR) was responsible for the exterior. They added a new front bumper, grille, hood, side skirts, diffuser, and rear deck with spoiler. The car has also received high performance 19-inch wheel and tire assemblies, a RMR free flowing exhaust system, and an air intake.
The interior gets a Harman International high level Lexicon audio system, custom premium leather, and suede seats accented with blue inserts.

Galpin Auto Sports brought the rain, the pain, and a whole lot of noise to the 2011 SEMA Auto Show. With a total of 12 new customized models, GAS really did their homework for some aftermarket action in Las Vegas.
Leading the way was the 2012 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake, the modded super muscle car that was treated to an extensive aerodynamic facelift and, more importantly, some performance tweaking that blew the lid off of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
We’ll proceed the ceremonies and tell you about Galpin’s very own hand-made steel body panels that were fitted into the GT500 Super Snake, adding nine inches to the car’s width. To give the car a little old-school Super Snake touch, Galpin custom painted the exterior with a Black paint finish with Tungsten Grey racing stripes, giving that added touch of exclusivity that only a GT500 Super Snake can have. On top of all that, the one-off muscle car also received a new set of lightweight aluminum wheels with their own Super Snake center caps wrapped in Pirelli tires, as well as a set of electric exhaust cutouts.
But the biggest part of the whole Galpin program lies under the GT500 Super Snake’s hood. Already boasting of a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 engine that spews out 750 horsepower, Galpin Auto Sports installed a Kenne Bell liquid-cooled 3.6-liter supercharger system that increased the output of the mighty GT500 Super Snake straight into the vicinity of 1,000 horsepower.
In so many words: wow.

The most powerful Genesis Coupe right now is powered by a 3.8 liter V6 engine that delivers 306 HP, but things are about to change. Hyundai and Rhys Millen Racing have teamed up for their fourth year collaboration to introduce the new RM500. The Hyundai Genesis Coupe RM500 by Rhys Millen Racing uses Hyundai’s most powerful engine: the 5.0-liter Tau V8.
This monstrous engine has been combined with a custom RMR stainless exhaust with GReddy rear section muffler, titanium tips, oil cooler, and rear differential cooler. These carefully chosen accessories team up to squeeze out an impressive 450 HP from the powerful V8 engine. Now that’s the kind of output a sports coupe like this deserves.
"The RMR RM500 Genesis Coupe is a natural home to showcase the performance capabilities of the powerful Tau V8 engine, available in the 2012 Genesis sedan," said Mike O’Brien, Vice President, Product and Corporate Planning, Hyundai Motor America. "Rhys Millen Racing has taken the Tau’s power and the Coupe’s tuner-friendly driving architecture to create a true show-stopper for SEMA this year."

Here’s a vehicle that may be sporting an orange and black combination, but has nothing to do with the spooky and wicked Halloween season. This is the Mazda MX-5 Super20, a vehicle whose name may sound a bit familiar due to Mazda’s entry into SEMA last year. The 2010 Super20 was created to celebrate the MX-5’s 20th anniversary, but this year, Mazda decided to bring a 2.0 version of that same vehicle with a killer paint job and a load of accessories.
The 2011 Mazda MX-5 Super20 features a Hyper Orange Mica exterior paint finish with black stripes to soften the bright blow. The paint job is topped off with a stationary, glossy black hardtop to replace the vehicle’s standard soft-top. The interior has also been modified and now features a color-matched roll bar and black leather seats with suede seat inserts and channel and orange contrast stitching.
The Super20 was also privy to a few performance modifications, such as a DPTune reflashed ECU, a Racing Beat 304-stainless steel header and exhaust, and Racing Beat hollow front and rear anti-roll bars. These features were joined by an ACT organic street clutch, MazdaSpeed coil overs and a shock tower brace, Power Slot slotted brake rotors, StopTech stainless steel brake lines and street performance brake pads, and SpeedSource front brake ducts. The MX-5 Super20 was finished with black 16-inch Enkei RPF1 twin-spoke racing wheels, Toyo Proxes RA-1 245/45ZR16 high-performance tires, and 20mm H&R Track+ bolt-on wheel spacers in the rear and 15mm Sparco wheel spacers in the front.
From the looks of things, we think Mazda threw together the Super20 last year and decided to really work hard this year to present a Super20 worthy of being called a celebratory vehicle.

American tuning company, Vorsteiner, has traveled across the pond to attend the 2011 SEMA Auto Show and they brought a modded BMW M3 right along with them.
The "GTS-V" program on the M3 includes a comprehensive list of aerodynamic and performance modifications, which Vorsteiner added to the BMW sports car with plenty of help from some of its tuning friends, including EAS, Macht Schnell, Volk Racing, Akrapovic, MXP, and Hankook.
The M3 GTS-V was given a Mineral White paint finish with matching gray, black, and green graphics. There’s also a new carbon front spoiler and carbon rear diffuser from Vorsteiner, as well as new Version 4.0 LED Angel Eyes courtesy of AiB. From there, new BMW Edition Black chrome kidneys and side gills were also added, as well as Mineral White Painted Reflectors from IND. The set-up and handling of the BMW M3 was also improved, thanks to a new KW Adjustable Spring Sleeve Kit that was installed to increase the coupe’s suspension stability. Rounding out the exterior changes are a new set of 18" Volk Racing TE37 wheels wrapped around Hankook RS-3 tires with Brembo GT-R brakes and a TPMS module from Macht Schnell.
Inside this raging sports car comes plenty of interior enhancements, proving that this whole program is as comprehensive as it can get. The standard seats on the M3 were removed in favor of a pair of Recaro x ASM RS-G Limited Blue Seats while new side brackets and polished floor mounts were installed by Macht Schnell.
Under the hood of the BMW M3 lies a 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 420 horsepower. But thanks to a Macht Schnell Stage 2 Intake Charge Kit, you can expect that output to be increased significantly.
