The Fabia was launched in 2007 and is the cheapest Skoda in India. It comes with a 1.2-litre diesel and petrol and a 1.6-litre petrol engine. it competes with the VW Polo, Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Fiat Grande Punto. There is no automatic option.

This estate has a wide range of engines and is available in three trim levels - Classic, Comfort and Elegance. Power steering, driver’s airbag and engine immobiliser are standard on all models.
