It began life as a humble Skoda Octavia , but destiny had different plans for it. The Romanian owner of this car had a wild, almost crazy idea of building what could be the fastest Octavia on the planet.
no need to mention that it is fast, as that is pretty obvious, but we do have to mention that it is fast enough to beat a Nissan GT-R . Mind you, the GT-R is one of the fastest-accelerating, all-wheel drive road cars on sale today. The Skoda in question also happens to have an interesting all-wheel-drive system under its skin.
Ghita Silviu is the Romanian man behind this creation, and he started off with an off-the-shelf Skoda Octavia with front-mounted, transverse engine. This 2.0-liter TFSI engine from a Golf GTI puts out a healthy 200 horsepower in the standard car, but in this example, it churns out a whopping 460 horsepower.
That’s not all, folks. Where the rear seats once lived, there is yet another engine powering the rear wheels. This is the same 2.0-liter TFSI, but with a slightly less intense 330 horsepower. This second engine has a standalone intake, cooling and exhaust systems. The combined output of the two engines is — wait for it — 790 horsepower!
The videos attached with this article prove the fact that this tricked-out Skoda is quicker off the line than a Nissan GT-R. How embarrassing would it feel to be beaten by a Skoda if you happen to be at the wheel of Godzilla, which hits 60 mph in just 2.9 ticks. This monster of an Octavia completes the sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds. That’s Bugatti Veyron -like performance. Additionally, the Skoda blitzes past 120 mph in nine seconds. Unfortunately, once off the line, we can’t make out who crosses the quarter-mile marker first, so that needs to be investigated as the videos fail to prove the GT-R fell to the mighty Skoda.

Rear Engine Dyno
The 2013 Skoda Octavia is really nothing to write home about. Sure, it has a new look and a newly developed engine family that produces upwards of 220 horsepower in its vRS garb, but it is still not a true performance car. The rest of the lineup ranges from a 1.2-liter diesel engine with 105 horsepower to a 2.0-liter diesel engine with 184 horsepower — definitely not a Godzilla-killer.
