  Sports Cars are engineered to go around corners and straight lines as fast as possible. They are usually expensive, dangerous and so much fun that everybody wants one. Owning a sports car is a gratifying experience but it will cost you money and back pain as they are usually expensive to maintain and not very comfortable. But who cares as they look like supermodels at the beach.

BMW’s personalization group, BMW Individual, is up to its old tricks again. Fresh off of revealing its take on the 4 Series Gran Coupe , BMW Individual has announced its latest piece of work, a customized BMW M6 Gran Coupe that has been finely dressed in a Frozen Red metallic paint finish.

Proving that subtle changes often make the best impact, this finely crafted 6 Series Gran Coupe not only gets a new fancy color, its door handles were also detailed in dark chrome to provide a nice complement to the fancy red look of the car. A BMW Individual Manufaktur signet in the Hofmeister kink was also added to ensure that the car retains its true personalized character.

Inside, the upgrades are fancier and more noticeable, beginning with an Opal White, full fine-grain Merino leather on the seats, contrasted by Sakhir Orange stitching. More interior trims include a Piano Black finish with accents in Frozen Red on numerous sections of the interior, as well as a new doorsill finisher with the BMW Individual Manufaktur signet and Opal White floor mats to match the color of the upholstery. Even minor areas, like the cup holders, now have a Piano Black trim. Another subtle addition it the embossed signet of the BMW Individual Manufaktur in teach headrest.

Overall, the BMW M6 Gran Coupe in Frozen Red Metallic is a nice take on what a fancy customization of the luxury sports coupe should look like. Hopefully, this package goes to market soon because you can bet that a lot of customers will be interested in it.

Koenigsegg isn’t just content with being an exclusive brand for the rich and super rich; it also wants to cater to people who can’t afford their supercars . So the company is thinking of adding an entry-level model in its mix, although by its definition of "entry-level", it’s talking about a car that costs just $600,000. The company’s dictionary sure is a lot different from the rest of us.

Speaking to Motoring Australia at the New York Auto Show , Christian Von Koenigsegg expressed his plan to add a little diversity to the Koenigsegg lineup. Instead of just offering hypercars that come with seven-digit price tags, Von Koenigsegg is looking to add a new model that will only cost six digits, or to be more specific only twice as expensive as a Lamborghini Aventador .

We can make light of Koenigsegg’s relative idea of "entry-level", but we can’t deny that such a car sounds no less interesting than its current models. He indicated that this model will still retain a high degree of exclusivity that should bode well for those wanting a Koenigsegg but can’t afford the $1.3 million price tag of the Agera . There are people with that kind of money, especially in the Chinese and U.S. markets replete with car-loving individuals that have the deep pockets to match their thirst for speed and exclusivity.

Koenigsegg didn’t divulge a whole lot of details about this "entry-level" supercar, but you have to wonder what the timetable is for this car’s arrival.

The 2014 Morgan Plus 4 prides itself on its old school looks that frankly hasn’t changed all that much from the models in the 60’s. It’s quite charming, really, that Morgan continues to roll out a car that looks like this.

There are some redeeming qualities about Morgan and the Plus 4 . A lot, actually. One thing we’ve come to appreciate about the company is its dedication to its classic sports car roots. Whereas other brands may have caved in to produce cars with designs that are up to the times, Morgan is sticking to its guns, determined to cater to that specific market that still appreciates an retro-looking burner when they see one.

And in a lot of ways, the Plus 4’s design actually makes it stand out these days. Thankfully, Morgan understands that just because the car looks like a `40’s hot rod, it doesn’t mean it should carry an engine from those times. It has 154 horsepower under that elongated bonnet, more than enough to enjoy the thrill of riding in style with the Plus 4.

Introduced at last year’s SEMA Show , the 2014 Corvette Stingray Pacific Concept was Chevrolet’s idea of customizing the C7 Corvette to look like a race car , without applying any powertrain modifications or taking its road-legal status away. Finished in a flashy, "look at me!" Torch Red exterior with a pair of Satin Black racing stripes across its nose, hood and rear end, the Corvette Pacific Concept took center stage in Las Vegas and, apparently, all that attention prompted Chevrolet to roll out a similar package for the 2015 Corvette Stingray Coupe .

Unlike the Atlantic Design Package that adds a few exterior updates and almost no cabin upgrades, the Pacific Design Package is more extensive and aimed at customers that either like to take their Corvette at the track or enjoy the racing-oriented appearance.

Before we jump to the details, we’d like to point out that the Pacific Design Package is exclusive to Z51-equipped coupes in either 2LT and 3LT trim. And like any 2015 Corvette Stingray, it can be ordered with the all-new eight-speed automatic tranny with paddle shifters and the Performance Data Recorder.

If you found the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible Atlantic Concept showcased at the 2013 SEMA Show to be an attractive drop-top , then you might as well start saving some money because Chevy has just announced that the vehicle will be put into production.

Specifically, due to strong success the concept car has enjoyed during SEMA, the automaker decided to create an Atlantic Design Package that turns a regular Corvette Stingray Convertible into a special edition sports car with unique exterior and interior features.

Available on Z51-equipped models selected in 2LT and 3LT trims, the package is inspired, according to Chevy, "by the luxury and performance of private jets seen at European vacation destination." However, the cabin only benefits from Stingray floor mats, so don’t expect for additional premium appointments aside from what you get with the Corvette Z51 and a set of custom luggage.

Exterior changes, on the other hand, are more noticeable, with several bespoke parts and graphics added to the body. Powertrain remains unaltered, which means customers will get the 6.2-liter V-8 engine and the 460 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque that come with the performance exhaust.

Although the Lexus IS 250 and IS 350 got a brand-new design for the 2014 model year, when the third-generation model arrived on U.S. shores, the brawnier IS-F version carried into the new year unchanged, with its much-deserved update to show up in 2015. Naturally, Lexus ’ decision to keep the IS-F the same poured more gas on the already heated up rumor mill, with everyone trying to guess the way the company will bend the new design into an aggressive high-performance sedan .

Spanish website Autonocion is the latest to stir the IS-F waters and did so by posting a photo of an IS wearing a black roof, a fancier rear bumper and a small spoiler placed atop the trunk, while the vehicles badges are covered by... duct tape.

The source doesn’t say anything about the photo’s origin, it does ask whether the Lexus depicted above is the next IS-F or not. What’s more, the picture quickly made it onto Lexus Spain’s Facebook page, becoming viral among brand enthusiasts and fueling the rumor even more.

Well, no need to panic folks, this is NOT the next-generation IS-F, but only a new IS 350 fitted with a fancy TRD body kit that adds all of the rear features mentioned above. Moreover, as a Facebook user pointed out on Lexus Spain’s post, the vehicle was photographed at the Circuit of Jarama, where the owner was probably testing his aerodynamically improved car. Not to mention that the exhaust pipe configuration is far off the expected IS-F setup, which will resemble the staggered setup on the RC-F .

The Volkswagen Scirocco is undoubtedly one of those models that American customers would love to have come to the U.S. Judging by how much frustration we’ve seen and heard from some of our readers, there’s a decent chance that their opinions reflect that of a majority of VW fans. But the Scirocco still doesn’t have a timetable to make its US debut, and it probably won’t have one until the big bosses in Germany say so.

For now, all we can do is sit back and enjoy (from afar) what the 2014 Volkswagen Scirocco has to offer. It’s still one of the better-looking models in VW ’s lineup, that much we can tell you. Even then, the updated styling on the front and rear sections definitely did their jobs in giving the Scirocco a more distinctive look.

Combine that with new exterior lighting and some new retro touches to the interior, like the auxiliary instruments and you have the makings of a car that will once again leave a lot of U.S. customers pining for the day Volkswagen brings the Scirocco across the pond.

Maybe it’s going to be sooner than we think, or maybe it won’t happen at all, but we all can still hope, right?

Last time the McLaren 650S made it into our news we saw a Spider version hitting 205.6 miles per hour at the Hockenheim track. The video was more interesting that regular sports car hooning footage because the 650S managed to overcome its official 204-mph top speed.

We are now back with more McLaren 650S track goodness, but this time it has nothing to do with pushing the speedometer to the limit. The British sports car has now fallen into the hands of Chris Harris, who took it to the Ascari Racing Resort in Spain for a few unconventional laps. We say that because Harris never intended to set a new course record, but approached every corner the Ken Block way. Drifting that is.

Unlike most similar videos, this one is filmed with a camera mounted inside the cockpit, so you won’t be able to actually see the McLaren as it goes sideways through the curves. Don’t be disappointed though, seeing Harris work on that steering wheels is equally entertaining.

As a brief refresh, the McLaren 650S is powered by a turbocharged, 3.8-liter, V-8 engine that sends 650 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque to the wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch box. The sports car needs only 2.9 seconds to sprint from naught to 60 mph and 10.5 to complete a quarter-mile run. The coupe’s top speed sits at 207 mph, while the Spider is officially rated at 204 mph.

The fact that Audi is working on a brand-new RS3 model ever since the third-generation A3 was unveiled in 2012 is no longer a secret, but the details around the high-performance compact are still under wraps. And the same goes for the production version that was spotted testing recently.

The vehicle in question is a Sportback version of the RS3 and, judging by the photos we’ve just received, the five-door has received a more aggressive front bumper with large air intakes and the company’s fresh headlamps and taillights.

Also notable when compared to the previous model are the wider fenders and a dual-exhaust configuration instead of the familiar twin setup. What’s more, the exhaust tips appear to have been embedded in the rear bumper, whereas the preceding RS3 Sportback had them mounted below the piece, in the diffuser-like skirt.

While these exterior tweaks are in line with the updates added to the new A3 and pretty much expected, the RS3 might hide something completely different under the hood.

The unveiling of the Mercedes SL-Class two years ago also gave way to the arrival of the model’s two performance-oriented models: the SL63 AMG and the SL65 AMG . The SL63 AMG model is regarded as an incredible machine, but it probably won’t hurt if you give it the 2Look Edition upgrade that a lot of other Mercedes models have received, including the SL-Class .

The dynamic characteristic of the SL63 AMG 2Look Edition is clearly evident in the way the new components all come together to create a far more aggressive look for the SL63 AMG. Be it the new exterior digs, or the interior refinements, the SL63 AMG 2Look Edition comes with a comprehensive list that will turn an already powerful sports car into the envy of everybody. It is called "2Look" for a reason, right?

The 2Look package for the SL63 AMG will set you back €9,401 — about $13,000 based on current exchange rates. Add that to the €134.950 ($186,703) price for SL63 AMG and you’re looking at a total price of €144,351 ($199,709). This package is also available on the SL65 AMG model for €5,355 — about $7,400. Unfortunately, the 2Look Edition is currently only available in Mercedes’ home country of Germany.
