  Sports Cars are engineered to go around corners and straight lines as fast as possible. They are usually expensive, dangerous and so much fun that everybody wants one. Owning a sports car is a gratifying experience but it will cost you money and back pain as they are usually expensive to maintain and not very comfortable. But who cares as they look like supermodels at the beach.

Jaguar announced its intentions to release a coupe version of the F-Type once the roadster version hit the market. Until now, however, the car has never been spotted testing anywhere around the world, so we had to just trust Jaguar’s word.

Today, we can add some substance to Jag’s claim, as leaked patent drawings of the F-Type Coupe have made their way onto the Internet and they reveal the final design of the sports coupe. Not that it’s very hard to imagine how an F-Type Coupe would look like, since you are essentially slapping a fixed roof on top of the F-Type Roadster . Reports point toward everything else being borrowed from the roadster version, including the exterior look and the engine lineup.

The F-Type Coupe will arrive on the market sometime in 2014 and will be followed by a more powerful R version. A Sport Brake version has also been rumored, but we doubt we are ever going to see it.

BMW M235i Coupe

We have heard rumors about a possible M235i ever since BMW unveiled the M135i Concept at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show . Back then it was rumored that the production version would carry the same M135i nomenclature, but considering that BMW has changed its naming system, the two-door coupe version will be called M235i.

Until now, all we had were rumors and speculation, but today our spy photographers caught the M235i lapping the Nürburgring. As expected, the prototype is heavily camouflaged, but it is pretty obvious it will carry an aggressive exterior look similar to other M models.

Under the hood, rumors suggest we are going to see the same engine we saw in the M135i Concept, which is a straight-six-cylinder engine with M Performance Twin Power Turbo technology that puts down more than 300 horsepower. The model will also be equipped with a rear-wheel-drive layout and sports suspension setup.

Infiniti LE

Infiniti’s strong sales performance in recent years has given the automaker reason to look forward to bigger things. And apparently, those bigger things equate to a pair of new vehicles added to its lineup.

Talking to Car and Driver, Infiniti’s new president Johan de Nysschen is looking at the possibility of strengthening its lineup with the addition of a new flagship sedan that de Nysschen describes as an "upscale, very emotional, high-performance luxury sedan." Basically, he’s looking at the possibility of developing a flagship sedan that will follow a different formula and not march to the beat of the industry.

So what does that mean, exactly? That’s the question on everyone’s mind, and understandably so because not a lot of people seem to have a clear grasp on what Infiniti is planning to do. The most ideal comparison as far as a unique flagship sedan that didn’t follow a certain design script is the Porsche Panamera . A fastback model has been thrown around, according to Car and Driver, which seems to lend to the suggestion that if and when Infiniti decides to introduce a new flagship sedan to the world, it’s going to take a different approach on its design.

Equally compelling news is consideration being put on also building a high-performance coupe based on the platform of the aforementioned flagship sedan. That’s a pretty exciting development, considering Infiniti is lacking that kind of poster-worthy sports car that other automakers have.

If there’s a chance to introduce a pair of new and exciting models that will take the Japanese automaker to another level, Infiniti should jump at the chance of building on its sales momentum.

Just when we thought the 2014 Nissan GT-R couldn’t get any better, Nissan proved us wrong. The company announced the launch of the new GT-R Track Edition today at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, which will join the 2014 GT-R lineup.

While the new Track Edition delivers the same output level as the standard GT-R , the updates made to the suspension, the addition of new fuel injectors and an oil pan baffle make it far better than the standard version.

In order to distinguish it from the standard version, the new Track Edition includes an array of modifications to the interior and exterior on top of the suspension improvements.

Deliveries for the new GT-R Track Edition will begin in May 2013. It will be limited to only 150 units.

So, is the new Track Edition worth whatever price hike that Nissan will place on it?

LOMA is best known for its work on the C6 Corvettes , but recently the German company has decided to turn its sights on Porsche. Because of the company’s location, all of the parts in the kit are made in Germany using carbon fiber, which is something a Porsche owner will prefer.

The 911 GT3 RSR is one of the most awesome Porsches ever built, but it’s not built to handle daily driving nor is it priced for the average Porsche buyer. To help satisfy your urge to own one, LOMA decided to make a kit to allow for you to turn your 997 into an RSR.

The 911 retains the stock engine that produces at least 325 horsepower, but LOMA offers a sports exhaust system to give the car more of a racecar soundtrack. The suspension and brakes also stay the same as the stock car, so the car doesn’t ride any lower than stock unless you decide to lower the car yourself.

The Toyota GT 86 sure is getting a ton of mileage ever since it was introduced last year. The sports coupe’s popularity in the market has even given Toyota the justification to build a special edition GT 86 that celebrates the automaker’s participation at the VLN Endurance Championship this year.

What it didn’t tell us was that the GT 86 Cup Edition would also serve the role as the VLN Endurance Championship’s official pace car, as shown in the pair of photos that were released of the heavily dressed GT 86 Cup Edition.

Officially, it’s called the GT 86 Cup Edition Pace Car and it comes with some features that are unique to it. Thanks to TRD, the GT 86 Cup Edition Pace Car received a new rear diffuser, front and rear aprons, new side skirts, a bigger trunk-lid spoiler, quad exhaust pipes, a stabilizer set, a carbon-fiber strut bar, and last but not least, exterior foil wrapping that separates it and distinguishes itself as the series’ official pace car.

As far as power goes, the GT 86 Cup Edition Pace Car will carry the same 2.0-liter inline four engine that produces 200 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque with a 0-to-60 mph time of 7 seconds and a top speed of slightly over 143 mph.

The new-generation Porsche 911 GT3 made its official debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, but there is still plenty of time before the new sports car hits showrooms, leaving plenty of time for some extreme testing.

These past few days, Porsche has taken advantage of this time by bringing a new GT3 prototype to the Nürburgring Nordschleife for some hard testing sessions. All we can say is that the 3.8-liter boxer engine found under the hood sounds like music to our ears! Watch the video (above) if you don’t believe us!

The new 911 GT3 delivers a total of 475 horsepower, which is enough to sprint to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds and up to a top speed of 195 mph. The problem is that Porsche decided to only offer a PDK gearbox, with no manual alternative being offered for those with a true driving spirit.

According to reports, the new 911 GT3 ran the Nürburgring Nordschleife in under 7:30 minutes.

Porsche 911 Turbo

It started with the 2014 911 GT3 , and a report from Road and Track claims that Porsche decided that the new-generation 911 Turbo will also be offered only with a PDK gearbox. So those of you who were hoping for a manual 911, you’ll have to hurry and snag one up in the current generation.

Along with the transmission shift, the report also claims the new 911 Turbo will offer lots of innovations, like a computer-controlled center differential, water-cooled Haldex unit and rear active steering for more maneuverability. Also, when compared to a base 911 , the new-generation Turbo will be about 2.8 inches wider and, for the first time, the car’s roof can either be painted or made in glass or carbon fiber.

The base Turbo model will deliver a total of 520 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, while in the S version it will be increased to 560 horsepower and 516 pound-feet. Top speed will be limited to 196 mph, but if the tires could handle it, it could have been easily increased to 207 mph. Fuel consumption has also been lowered by 13 percent.

We have kept the best for last. The current 911 Turbo lapped Nürburgring in 7:39 (7:37 for the S version) and rumors now point to the new Turbo to coming in at way under 7:30. Could it beat Carrera GT’s 7:25? We’ll see.

When a car is considered the fastest of its kind, people usually stand up and pay serious attention.

Well, that’s what folks are saying about this 2013 BRZ , which belongs to drag racing driver Ali Afshar. If beefed up is a description for this Japanese sports car, then consider that a massive understatement.

As an 18-time NHRA champion, Afshar knows full well the value of having a monster engine under the hood of his team’s racecars. That’s precisely why this BRZ comes with a staggering 1,400 horsepower, all packed in the car’s 2.5-liter, four-cylinder boxer engine. The usual amenities of a racecar have also been added, including the full-on roll cage, the enormous rear wing, the wheelie-bar, and the wide slick wheels.

But the real highlight of this BRZ is that engine that has been tuned to deliver some otherworldly output. All in all, that much power should bode well for the Afshar, as he attempts to race the BRZ down the strip of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway later this week in 7 seconds.

It’ll be interesting to see if Afshar is successful in his attempt, which will be a record, should he achieve it. Whatever happens, it’s going to make for an extremely entertaining show.

When BMW brought the X6 to the market, we had some doubt about its ability to succeed, but luckily the model proved us wrong. So when the M version was also dropped, we had no doubts that it will instantly become of the best sold sports SUV on the market. After all, with 555 horsepower under the hood, who can ask for more, right?

Well, the answer is German tuner, Inside Performance, which has unveiled a sweet Stealth package based on the X6 M. The tuner decided the car can pump out much more power than the standard model, so it installed a special exhaust system available in two power levels. Level 1 it gets 3-inch piping and up to 3-inch valves, and level 2 gets new downpipes and new generation 200-cell sports metal catalysts. The result is an output of 700 horsepower and 626 pound-feet of torque.

In order to handle the extra power, the tuner installed new 22-inch alloy wheels and adjustable suspension. The exterior has been wrapped in an army-style foil.
