Don’t let the Range Rover Evoque body hidden under wraps fool you folks, what you’re looking at is a prototype of the production model based on the C-X17 concept unveiled last year.

Scheduled to make its official debut in the second half of 2015, the C-X17 will become the first ever crossover SUV to sport a Jaguar badge and ride on the company’s upcoming modular platform that will also underpin the XE sedan and probably the Land Rover Discovery .

Being disguised as an Evoque, the mule doesn’t offer too many details for us to ogle at, especially at the front and around the back, but we can clearly see the vehicle is longer than the aforementioned Range Rover model. The rear bumper is another detail that suggest we’re looking at more than just a longer Evoque, as are the wider fenders and the rear windshield.

There’s no official info as to what kind of engines will be motivating the SUV, but we do know that Jaguar’s new range of four-cylinder units will make their way under the hood. Both gasoline and diesel options are on the table, with the range-topping gas model likely to get a couple of turbochargers attached to it for Porsche Macan -like performance.

We wouldn’t be surprised to see the manufacturer launch the new SUV in both rear-wheel and all-wheel-drive configurations.

Although the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Wagon — also referred to as the T-Model or Estate — was expected to make its official debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show , the grocery-getter didn’t show up in Switzerland, which points toward a Paris Motor Show reveal later this year. Despite the delay — the French event is more than five months away — the C-Class Wagon is pretty much ready to go on display, as suggested by the camo-free version that was spotted roaming the streets last fall.

Adding to the hypothesis are these new spy shots we’ve just received, depicting three wagons loaded onto a trailer along with sedan versions of the brand-new C-Class . The estates are still wearing a bit of camouflage, with their taillights, emblems and rear three quarter windows still hidden, but that’s not necessarily an indication that Mercedes is still working on the details.

There’s no info as to where the vehicles were being hauled, but it’s obvious that company has already started producing the wagon while preparing its official launch.

The fact that Audi is working on a brand-new RS3 model ever since the third-generation A3 was unveiled in 2012 is no longer a secret, but the details around the high-performance compact are still under wraps. And the same goes for the production version that was spotted testing recently.

The vehicle in question is a Sportback version of the RS3 and, judging by the photos we’ve just received, the five-door has received a more aggressive front bumper with large air intakes and the company’s fresh headlamps and taillights.

Also notable when compared to the previous model are the wider fenders and a dual-exhaust configuration instead of the familiar twin setup. What’s more, the exhaust tips appear to have been embedded in the rear bumper, whereas the preceding RS3 Sportback had them mounted below the piece, in the diffuser-like skirt.

While these exterior tweaks are in line with the updates added to the new A3 and pretty much expected, the RS3 might hide something completely different under the hood.

It hasn’t been long since Mercedes-Benz unveiled its brand-new Concept Coupe SUV at the Beijing Auto Show , and our skilled spy photographers have already spotted the production version testing on public roads.

Rumored to come alive under the MLC-Class moniker, the sleek SUV that’s supposed to give the BMW X6 a run for its money has been captured completely camouflaged, with the wrap hiding everything from its impressive front grille to the sloping roof.

Despite its deceiving black-and-white suit, we’re able to notice that although the overall shape remains true to the concept vehicle, the production version will sport a taller glasshouse and other minor modifications. These appears to include a reshaped front bumper with a different lower grille, larger exterior mirrors and slightly larger door handles.

Details are well hidden around back as well, where a fake piece makes the boot seem higher, but don’t let that fool you, the raked windshield and trunk lid won’t go away. The taillights also appear to be wider and we have a feeling the center light bar will be reshaped as well.

As the 2014 New York Auto Show finally revealed all of its mysteries last week, you’ve probably noticed that the brand-new Mercedes-Benz AMG GT was not among them. Far from shocking we may add, as the NYIAS scenario wasn’t very likely in the first place.

And that’s because the Germans are still testing the sports car . In fact, they have recently switched from public road try-outs (check out our previous spy shots here and here ) to more enduring race course tests. Where? At the Nurburgring track, of course, the place where all sports cars go to prove themselves.

Having new footage with the AMG GT is great news, but the included video is exciting and somewhat disappointing at the same time. The good news is that we’re finally getting a taste of that new 4.0-liter V-8 engine. As expected, it comes with a throaty exhaust note as a strong argument that downsizing isn’t necessarily bad.

The bad news is that there’s no skin for us to ogle at, with the coupe still wrapped in its annoying camouflage. However, there is a tiny detail that shows up in the video: the engine’s radiator is now covered by Mercedes ’ signature grille with the three-pointed star right in the middle. We know it’s not much, but it’s nice to see some progress.

As we’ve previously reported, there’s no info as to when and where this sports car will be unveiled, but we have reasons to believe it will happen at the Paris Motor Show this fall.

Launched with three different powertrain choices, available as the V6, the V6 S and the V8 S (R for the Coupe ) in U.S. showrooms, the brand-new Jaguar F-Type is already scheduled to receive a fourth version. Reportedly dubbed R-S , the new trim will be introduced on both the Coupe and the Roadster and will take the output of the supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 up to around 550 horsepower. That’s about 50 horses more than the current range-topping model.

Word has it a lighter, Club Sport iteration is also be underway, meaning the lineup would expand to include nine models (five Coupes and four Roadsters). It may sound like a lot for a sports car of this nature, but it appears we have yet to see the end of it.

As a new video that surfaced the Internet recently suggests, the Brits are developing yet another F-Type. But this time they aren’t working on a more powerful V-8 version, but one that sports a turbocharged four-cylinder mill under the hood. Yes, that’s right, Jaguar is downsizing and switching forced induction units.

Watching the video you’ll notice that the Roadster in question wears an S badge, but don’t let that fool you, the car’s engine note is nowhere near a supercharged V-6.

Little is known about the unit powering the model spotted at Nurburgring , but we do know that Jaguar is getting ready to introduce a new range of four-cylinder engines that will find their way into the upcoming C-X17 crossover and future Land Rover SUVs.This could even be a modified version of the Range Rover Evoque’s 2.0-liter engine, which produces 240 horsepower in the SUV, but likely can hit over 300 ponies with a little extra work.

Ever since the LaFerrari was unveiled at last year’s Geneva Motor Show , Ferrari aficionados have been dreaming about a track-exclusive version of the ultra-fast hybrid. Something in the vein of the FXX , an Enzo -based race car built in 30 units between 2005 and 2007 or even the F40 LM .

It took the Italians more than a year to admit they will be building one, but they finally did it a couple of days ago , when Antonello Coletta, chief of Ferrari’s Sporting Activity Department, said LaFerrari race car with the "XX" moniker attached to its name is underway.

Those of you that were still reluctant to the news will be quite happy to find out that a prototype version of the LaFerrari XX is already being tested. And to remove any trace of doubt, we have a batch of spy shots to prove it.

The mule showed up at the Nurburgring track (where else?), wearing nothing but its carbon-fiber suit. Interestingly enough, there are no aerodynamic-enhancing parts attached to the body (yet), but the supercar is obviously fitted with lightweight polycarbonate windows, mandatory for any lightweight, race-spec vehicle.

Did you catch yesterday’s spy shots of the upcoming Porsche 911 GT3 RS ? We spotted the prototype on its way to the Nurburgring course, the place were all track-prepped Porsches feel at home, and we had a look at some of the car’s new details. Now we’re back to bring you a host of new photos with the GT3 RS taking on the famed Nordschleife. And if that makes you drool all over your keyboard, please take it to our paparazzi, because they’re the ones prowling around Nurburgring for the hottest four-wheeled machines that may show up.

Unfortunately, there are no fresh details for us to munch on, but the new pictures provide us with a better look at the prototype. We’re especially glad we can now ogle at the RS’ sexy rear end without any lens flare to bother our eyes and take notice of the bumper’s actual shape.

What’s more, the fact that the new 911 GT3 RS will have even wider tires at all four corners is much more obvious. Also, it appears that the large rear wing will undergo some minor modifications until it reaches its final production form.

The wait is over for the all-new 2015 Dodge Charger, though with a quick glance at the photos, it seems ‘all-new’ is a bit of a stretch. But while everything but the front grille may look carried over, nearly every body panel has been updated. The subtle changes continue inside with a reworked dashboard, a more techno-laden gauge cluster, a new center stack, and a sweet T-handle gear selector.

Things under the hood are still familiar, too. The base 3.6-liter, Pentastar V-6 returns, as does the venerable 5.7-liter, HEMI V-8. The transmission options have changed, however. The eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic is now standard across the board, helping the Pentastar V-6 achieve 31 mpg highway while assisting the 5.7-liter HEMI sprint to 60 mph in roughly 5 seconds.

The interior sees a host of electronic upgrades and new technologies within Chrysler’s latest version of Uconnect. Voice texting, updated 3D navigation, WiFi hotspot capabilities, and the all-new Dodge Performance pages all find a home within the 8.4-inch touch screen. That latter item holds a plethora of performance options and customizable settings including launch control and its rpm settings, performance timers, extra gauges, and even a g-force meter.

Matching the updated and more upmarket interior is the Charger’s reworked outer skin. The most noticeable changes lie up front with its more Dodge Dart -like appearance. Around to the sides are scalloped doors still flowing into the large rear haunches and then to a detail-rich rear fascia. A new crop of wheels completes the 2015 transformation.

We knew the Jaguar F-Type Roadster would be a spectacular car the moment we saw it. We also knew things were about to get better as soon as rumors about about a coupe version surfaced.

It didn’t take too long for the F-Type Coupe to join the ranks of Jaguar , but, as the new model was settling in, the British were already working on a more powerful version, the F-Type R Coupe , as well as pondering a lightweight, Club Sport model.

If you thought Jaguar was paying too much attention to the Coupe while ignoring the Roadster, you had it all wrong. The Brits are indeed prepping a hotter version of the drop-top F-Type that could be offered with an R-S badge slapped to its sexy rear end.

That’s word from our trusty spy photographers, who have spotted a never-before-seen F-Type Roadster on steroids stretching its legs somewhere in the United Kingdom. Details are limited at the time of this writing, but the beefy front bumper and the larger rear spoiler are there to tell us that this ain’t no regular F-Type.
