For the 2001 model year, the Impreza is available in five models: L Coupe, Sedan, and Wagon, as well as RS Coupe and Sedan. All models continue with very few changes from last year+s models. Standard features include an AM/FM stereo with cassette, air conditioning, and power windows, mirrors and door locks.
Subaru designers used the excitement and power of its world rallying experience as a styling cue for the new Impreza range, highlighted in the sedan by its distinctive flared arches. The styling of new Impreza evokes a sense of strength, security and stability, underlined by the low centre of gravity in the Impreza sedan.
All Subaru Impreza cars have distinctive round clear-lens multi-reflector halogen headlights. These include indicators integrated above the headlights. Light emission, long distance vision and lateral spread are all improved. The design lines of the round headlights extend along the outer edges of the bonnet, producing a sculpted look. To improve the car’s visibility to other motorists, reflex reflectors have been installed in the sides of the front guards.
