The integration of sporting character with comfort and safety makes the concept a working reality. Put simply, Outback is where functionality meets driver-friendliness – exactly what ‘Crossover’ is meant to be. Headlamps with pop-up type headlamp washers Bi-xenon headlamps have HID bulbs for both dipped and high beam levels. The pop-up type headlamp washers are built in, to adapt to the headlamp design. Front fog lamps These multi-reflector type fog lamps illuminate the road surface equally well in fog and in visually difficult circumstances. Of course, it’s also an added safety factor. Sunroof The glass sunroof is the inner-slide type, to give a large opening for greater fresh air exhilaration. The front portion tilts up on two levels. (Standard on the 3.0R models, optional on the 2.5i models) Roof spoiler The roof spoiler neatly finishes off the roof-end and enhances the aerodynamic effect, adding to already sporty looks. High-mounted stop-lamp is incorporated in the rear spoiler. Power-folding door mirrors Aerodynamically designed to cut down drag, the mirror surfaces also repel drips. Power-folding in and out, they have built-in LED turn signals for extra visibility. Heated door mirrors The built-in heater evaporates fog, drips and snow to clear the mirrors. 17-inch Aluminium alloy wheels (3.0R) High-lustre aluminium alloy wheels intensify the sturdiness and sporty looks of the vehicle. They also reduce unsprung weight for good handling and stable driving. 17-inch Aluminium alloy wheels (2.5i) Dynamic looking aluminium alloy wheels for the 2.5i models. They also reduce unsprung weight for good handling and stable driving. Interior EquipmentThe Outback’s versatility and luxury is underlined by its high standard of interior features. Everything about the way they work together helps the ‘Crossover’ concept deliver the kind of driving experience you want, whatever route you choose to go. It’s your life – and the Outback matches it every time. Navigation system (Optional) The DVD dashboard-mounted navigation system gives quickresponse information on navigation. The system has an easy to use 7-inch touch screen display which also shows information about fuel consumption and numerous maintenance data. Multi-information display (3.0R) Inside the tachometer, a display details information about SI-DRIVE mode and driving conditions of the vehicle. The display shows trip and odometer readings, average fuel economy, ambient temperature and fuel remaining. Air-conditioning system The front air-conditioning system is separated in two zones, so, the temperature for both driver and front passenger can be individually regulated for comfort. The 3.0R models also have the rear ventilation system as standard. Audio satellite (3.0R) and cruise control switches The switches located on the left of the steering wheel help you control the audio system easily and safely. The cruise control switches available on the right keep the vehicle running at a pre-determined speed. Cup holders A pair of cup holders is mounted in the centre console. On the 3.0-litre models, they’re conveniently illuminated, while there’s another pair of cup holders in the rear centre console of the 2.5i models and in the rear centre armrest of the 3.0R models. Centre console with 12-volt power outlet The centre console comprises a container underneath the armrest, and a 12-volt power outlet. Telescopic steering In addition to the tilt-system, a telescopic adjustment system is incorporated. You can choose your optimum steering position by moving it closer or further away within the range of 40 mm. 8-way power-adjustable front seats (Leather seats) The leather front seats are 8-way power-adjustable (3.0R: optional for both sides, 2.5i: optional for driver’s seat only). Driver’s seat includes a memory feature that remembers the precise seating preferences of two different drivers.ead restraints can help reduce potential whiplash injury in a rear collision. ---- PricesOUTBACK SPORT Starting at $19,195The Outback Sport incorporates the performance features of an Impreza with the rugged durability of the Outback.
