2009 Subaru Impreza 2.5GT

Subaru has now introduced a mellower version of the WRX. The Impreza 2.5GT is powered by the same 224hp turbocharged intercooled engine from the WRX, but it comes standard teamed to a standard 4-speed semi-automatic transmission.

It will be available in both 4-Door and 5-Door version, and like all Subaru models, the Impreza WRX and 2.5GT models are equipped with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive.The 2.5-liter DOHC turbocharged engine delivers 224hp at 5,200rpm and a peak torque of 226lb.-ft. at 2,800rpm - same as in the WRX.

Where the WRX is more about performance, the new 2.5GT is a little more about comfort. It features as standard Impreza Premium Package equipment, including glass moonroof and an All-Weather Package.
