2012 Subaru BRZ GT300 Race Car

We all knew the secret was out of the bag as far as Subaru’s impending participation in the Japanese Super GT series . Now, the Japanese automaker has officially revealed their entry to the racing series: the Subaru BRZ GT300 Race Car.

The BRZ GT300 Race Car is being built to compete in the Super GT series, replacing the existing Subaru Legacy STI that’s currently plying its craft in race tracks all over Japan.

In terms of its design, the BRZ GT300 looks a lot different than the production BRZ , as well it should. The former was engineered specifically for racing reasons and as such, it’s had some in-house tuning done on it courtesy of STI. Among the modifications done on the BRZ GT300 include a larger carbon fiber splitter, a larger front air intake, new air scoops on the bonnet, a fixed rear spoiler, a new diffuser, Perspex windows, and a new set of 18" black alloy wheels wrapped in Yokohoma Advan tires. As you can expect, the interior of the BRZ GT300 was completely stripped down to its bare essentials to ensure that the car loses as much weight as it can. In place of everything that was taken down, Subaru added a full roll cage and a Recaro racing seat.

Under the hood of the race car, Subaru outfitted the BRZ GT300 with an STI-developed 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine that has been tuned to produce 300 horsepower, right in line with the requirements for the GT300 class of the Super GT Series where the racer will be competing in.

I love the exterior design of this racing prototype. It looks very aggressive that makes everyone stop when they see this. The four-cylinder engine gives the car the greatest performance ever.

This is a true race car. The engines was four cylinder box. Making it cool in blue shade of exterior. This is a car that’s only for competition else it would be nonsense.

I just like the authentic look of this car. Its really suited for that amazing exterior design of this race car. But I like the wheels of this car though it looks simple on its black color.

It looks like a Tamia to me. haha. But it is such a good-looking race car that I will regret after I get a crash on a race. This is too pretty to compete.

I love the authentic look of this Subaru. This looks so light and heavy at the same time. Anyway, I love the wheels of this car though it looks simple on its black color.

I love the looks of its wheels. Really suited for that amazing exterior design of this race car. Subaru has produces an amazing car again! Cheers to that!

Actually, this race car looks like a toy to me. And that is pretty amazing and cute at the same time. I think they should really boost the engine of this car for that is not quite impressive to me.

Its boxer engine which has an output of 300 hp really seems nice on this race car. However, I still find out that its future competitor could be more powerful and efficient than with this one.

I love the air intakes of this race car! It gives more aggressive looks on it! Good thing as well that they use a powerful engine on this sports vehicle! However, I noticed that it looks too huge on its dimension.

Its new body kit is really so cool for this race car, and I would admit that when its comes into its exterior appearance, I can say that it is already perfect, just too bad it doesn’t have an impressive engine.

Yeah right! Subaru vehicles are really stood out for their impressive appearance, but the engine that they were always using is truly so disappointing, especially for this kind of cars.

Subaru should also need to give an extra focused on how they can boost more their engine, especially on their race vehicles like this. Moreover, I must say that I’m as well impressed on its looks.

Wow! It is definitely an impressive and fabulous race car that Subaru would ever be produced! Its Japanese automaker is absolutely great and genius for building this sports vehicle, so perfect!
