Press release

Suzuki GB PLC is pleased to announce a new Special Edition SX4 model, SZ-L, which goes on sale this week, ready for the ‘60’ registration plate.

Suzuki’s SX4 is a distinctive five-door hatchback that blends the characteristics of sporty compacts exemplified by the Swift, with those of lightweight SUVs such as the Grand Vitara, to create an exciting small car alternative.

The new SZ-L model brings true urban styling to the popular SX4 with unique Gunmetal coloured roof rails, front grille, alloy wheels and front and rear skid plates. For the interior a new style Alcantara trim in light grey is included plus a three spoke leather steering wheel with Gunmetal stitch detailing and six disc in dash CD changer.

SZ-L is based on the SZ4 grade and is available in two wheel drive format with 120PS 1.6-litre petrol engine and manual transmission only.

The Euro 5 emissions 1.6-litre petrol engine features variable valve timing with variable intake system for enhanced driveability and response. It powers the SX4 2WD models with manual transmission from nought to 62 mph in 10.7 seconds. In combined cycle driving, the 2WD manual models return 45.6mpg with emissions of 143g/km.

SZ-L is priced at £13,145 including metallic paint and is available in two colours, Silky Silver Pearl and Cosmic Black.

Alto – Latest offers

Suzuki is currently offering the Alto SZ4 model with no VAT to pay; the offer continues until the end of September and represents a customer saving of £1,332 on the SZ4 model, reducing the purchase price to £7,608.

Alto is one of the lowest cost cars to run with CO2 emissions of just 103g/km, fuel economy of 64.2mpg, £20 annual VED charges and insurance group 1.

Well, it will surely look more interesting and stunning if they add some interesting technology on its interior. Anyway, I must give some compliment with the classy exterior design of this Suzuki car.

This SX4 had the same platform with the SUV of Audi. Anyway, it doesn’t really matter at all! smiley Moreover, even though it only looks so simple with its style, I still love the fact that it is very reliable on the road.

Black and white interior touch is quite cool for this one, and if I’m not mistaken it is a compact car right? Furthermore, it is absolutely looking so striking on its sleek body paint.

The interior seems okay but had the looks of a boring one? Anyway, I love the platform of this Suzuki though it really looks so simple. The engine is quite good enough for it.

It looks so ordinary and simple. I’ve seen lots of cars’ design like that, so it is not really impressive at all, but it’s still had an appeal.

They are right, this SX4 SZ-L seems so boring most especially on its interior features, if only they add some interesting technologies to make it a better entertaining car.

Just like them I’m not so impressed with this Suzuki SX4 SZ-L. It is simply sophisticated on its body color and they are right that the interior looks so boring.

I don’t like the interior touch of this SX4 SZ-L and I found it so boring, maybe if they could add some advanced technologies on it, it will surely become an entertaining car. I must give some compliment with the classy exterior design of this Suzuki car.

This special edition will be available only on UK market and is only limited to 60 cars. Suzuki is offering this with two colors. The  cosmic black and Silver. I’m looking forward to the after-market production of this one. Hopefully, Suzuki can make it.

I’m glad to hear that the cost of this one is not too high. I’m impressed with the design but not that much. The interior is so simple, but I think that the reason why it is not that expensive compared with other units.
