The TechArt GTstreet RS is a super tuned version of the Porsche 911 GT2 and is the latest masterpiece from the German tuning that specializes in the German sports car maker’s work with the GTstreet RS being of the 700 HP variety. The vehicle features a new body kit consisting of a GT RS front apron complete with carbon splitter, new side carbon-flics, aero bonnet, headlight shades, mirror shades, new side sills, a carbon roof spoiler, a rear spoiler GT with winglets and carbon gurney and a rear apron GT RS with carbon diffuser and air outlet as well as carbon air wings.

In order to obtain the astonishing power TechArt has upgraded the flat six with a new turbocharger to provide more boost, a high performance intercooler to handle the extra heat, a sport tuned exhaust system to let the boxer engine breathe and new engine electronics to make sure that everything remains in working order. As part of TechArt’s high performance design philosophy, they test their machines on the track. The GTstreet RS has most recently established a new lap record at the Sachsenring race track clocking in at 1:31.94 minutes around the former DTM and current Moto GP circuit. Aside from setting a new speed record the highly tuned GT2 also scored a win with its proven ability to stop from 60 MPH just short of 108 feet, once again reassuring the RS’s super car competitor status.

Press release after the jump!

PRESS RELEASE

Since 2001, TECHART GTstreet vehicles have been among the fastest and highest performance sports cars in the world. This high performance is reflected in the GTstreet RS’s statistics - 700 PS and 515 KW – with a maximum torque of 860 Nm. This power is achieved through the use of modified turbochargers, enlarged carbon inlet pipes, specially developed intercoolers, a sports flap exhaust combined with high-performance headers, modified pressure sensor and a sports air filter. The GTstreet model demonstrates a high level of performance in the wind tunnel: with a downforce of 10 kilos on the front and rear axles at a speed of 140 km/h.

GT RS front apron is fitted with a carbon splitter. A special air duct has been constructed to enable the cool air to pass directly behind the radiator and over the newly created air outlet thereby reducing the buoyant force on the front axle considerably. Side carbon flics support this effect in that they increase the downforce considerably by acting as a counterpart. All of the sporty basics are featured, creating a sporty appearance and fast model with its aero-bonnet, headlight shades, mirror shades, GT sill panels and carbon roof spoiler. The GT rear spoiler is particularly striking with its carbon winglets and gurney flaps. The GT RS rear apron with carbon diffuser, air outlet and carbon air wings complete the programme for this club sports car.

The performance of the GTstreet RS is also reflected in the chassis. With its TECHART Formula III forged rims and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup Plus tyres, the GTstreet RS offers drivers the maximum performance for a street-worthy sports car. The impressive 1.06,811 min. lap time on the short Hockenheim course emphasises yet again the GTstreet RS’s ambitions on becoming one of the fastest sports cars in the world. The special TECHART threaded chassis is also available for the GTstreet RS.

From coloured decorative stitching to complete leather furnishings in the colour of your choice or decorative components in various materials such as carbon or piano lacquer, TECHART offers a virtually endless range of possibilities to meet all tastes in furnishings. Additional accessories such as aluminium pedals, a 3-spoke sports steering wheel and illuminated door sill protectors with an individual logo complete this diverse range of furnishing options.

Press release

TECHART has organized the turn of the year very differently. After TECHART’s full size SUV speed record in the Italian Nardo, the TECHART GT Street RS based on the 911 GT2 broke the former lap record at the Sachsenring race track. High speed, pace, uniqueness – 100 % TECHART.

TECHART GT Street RS established new lap record

In the comparison carried out by AutoBild SPORTSCARS, TECHART impressively asserted its superiority over the competitors. Already before the record drive on the 3,671-meter circuit, the TECHART GT Street RS impressed spectators and proved its unique versatility. Apart from the sprinter qualities demonstrated several times, which were once more unheard of (from 0 to 100 km/hh in only 3.5 sec), the sports car displayed another quality that was just as important: A 32,9-meter braking distance at a speed of 100 km/h is looking to find its match. Once again, TECHART’s basic principles were confirmed: TÜV-tested and approved components as well as OEM quality in every detail.

TECHART GT Street RS established new lap record

For the conclusion of the extensive test program, the TECHART GT Street RS was able to crown once more the performance achieved on this day. With a lap time of 1:31.94 min, the winner of the Tuner Grand Prix 2008 and 2009 repeatedly demonstrated the TECHART winning gene. With more than 1.95 sec of head start, it left not only the competitors far behind, but improved the current AutoBild SPORTSCARS lap record at the Sachsenring by an unprecedented 4.47 sec.

this car looks like one of the car in Need For Speed Racing game. And the white color really rocks!

that what you get when you park your car into GTsTREETS garage.

gt2 is a beast, tuning it would make it a monster. love the wheels (not the kit although wing has to be there to get those lap times)

Porsche for me is the best car maker in the world. This car will definitely be a hit. I wish I was richer to own all of their cars.

The size of this car is maybe the best asset. It look so small in the picture, and light too. And if it really is, watch out, because this will really outrun other racing car brands of the future.

Tuning the 911 to the highest will earn it’s reputation more and more, IMO this baby can smoke the GT-R easily.
