The Yaris Club, revealed today at SEMA Show pays tribute to Toyota’s racing heritage harkening back to the late ‘60s when Toyota challenged for the Group 7 category of Can-Am racing with the Toyota 7.
The car is powered by a TRD/TTE Supercharger with Cold Air Intake that delivers with 60 hp more than the standard model, so the maximum power goes now up to 166 hp.
The Yaris Club is a single seater, with no roof and with the windshield lowered. The project also features: Five Axis Design Hard Top Tonneau Conversion, Toyota JDM Front and Rear Vitz RS Bumpers, Toyota JDM Vitz Rear taillight and Fog Light, TRD JDM Vitz RS Front Bumper Cover, Vintage Ivory White Paint with Asymmetrical Graphic Racing Stripe and Graphic Outputs by Sticky Fingers Design.

Toyota Yaris has been first unveiled in 1999. In its second generation (first was sold until 2005), the Yaris will receive its first facelift for 2009.
Compared to the current Yaris the facelifted one will get a smaller grille and the bumper gets a new design(look around the fog lights). It also seems that the rear lights are repositioned. No information on the engines, but we are sure that cleaner and more efficient engines will also be introduced.
It’s small; It’s cheap; It’s fuel efficient; and It’s now what the U.S. looking to buy. Toyota today announced US pricing for the 2009 Yaris subcompact models. It will go on sale later this summer with prices ranging from $12,205 for the three-door Liftback (hatchback) Base model to $15,880 for the Sedan S model. This also includes the five-door Liftback model starting from $13,305.
The little four cylinder Yaris gets 29 MPG city and 36 highway
when the 1.5-liter engine is mated to a manual transmission.

Toyota UK launched the Yaris SR models, a comprehensively upgraded the specification of its 1.3 VVT-i and 1.4 D-4D models. A unique standard feature of the new Yaris SR is the satellite navigation / audio system which is both built in and fully portable. The system offers handy touch screen operation, Bluetooth connectivity and USB connection for MP3 players.
The price of the SR models is just £350 greater than the equivalent T3 version and represents £1,100 extra value. And the price tag also covers nine airbags, electric front windows, remote central double locking, air conditioning, front fog lamps and the one-touch Easy Flat folding rear seat system.
