The Tacoma X-Runner concept made its debut today at the SEMA Show. The concept adds several newly designed and developed components and a carefully tuned chassis, taking the truck to new levels of performance and styling.
The Tacoma X-Runner Concept is powered by a 4.0-liter DOHC VVT-i V6 engine that is updated with new pistons, connecting rods, camshafts and other equipment to provide 400 hp and 350 lb.-ft. torque. The engine is mated to the Tacoma six-speed manual transmission.
On the exterior the X-Runner comes with a new aggressively styled front bumper fascia and grille, full-length rocker panels with integrated side-exit exhaust, LED lights.
