Show me a truck that can compete with what an American truck offers, the Hilux is a different kind of truck. (It’d be cool to have em here, that’s for sure.). I have no doubt that a full size US "style" truck could do that trek without issue, I would love for Ford, GM or Dodge to try. Would the foreign Ford Ranger compete any better in your eyes?
This model is powered by the 2.5 D-4D engine and equipped with five speed manual gearbox and comes in 3 body styles.
@ adriansmith - IMO tundra is more powerful and agile than the 2009 Hilux, but still it can’t beat the Nissan Navara’s performance and reliability.
I’d say that next to Ford f150, hilux will be one of my favorites. Comparing the two of course Hilux has no edge in both design, performance and value but it is the next best thing not because its cheap but it performs well.
hilux is versatile and very reliable pick up truck, it really amaze me that I has 24hp more and it can accelerate 0-60 in just 2.5 sec.? Is that true? This model is way far better than Hilux 2009 and better than Tundra and Sequoia series.
