2011 Toyota Avensis BTCC by Dynojet Race Team

Dynojet Race Team has revealed the first details on their own version of Avensis BTCC car. Their model will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged power unit adapted from one of Toyota’s road-going range. With the help of a turbocharger and a number of internal revisions, the team hopes to boost power output from around 140 HP in road specification to 300-plus HP.

Dynojet Race Team chief Frank Wrathall Snr said: "The Avensis has been designed to the ‘Next Generation Touring Car’ rules, which means we could have opted for the stock TOCA engine, however we were enormously impressed by the plans put forward by X CTech R and felt that this was the right way for us to go, not least because it means our Avensis will be 100 per cent Toyota."

The new Avensis BTCC car will make its debut at the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship scheduled for 3 April at Brands Hatch, Kent.

I have to agree with Inigo Montoya and I think one of the improvements that this Toyota needs to do is its engine output. I just don’t believe that it could already have a nice speed on that.

I have seen a few clips of this car in action, and I would say that I am really impressed at the way that it goes. Though, I think there are still some improvements that can be made here.

This one actually has a nice design. I love the color scheme that they have used for the car and of course, it actually performs rather well, with all the upgrades that they have installed in it,.

It is Toyota Avensis BTCC that was containing a very impressive and aero dynamic performances a number of internal revisions that indeed it is, Actually based on its interior design image it’s getting so real and better.

I think the car has a less details regarding the total capacity of fuel efficiency of the car. That would be great if it emphasizes its speed performances as well.

well, yeah! This model is impressive which comes to be the greatest aspiring model for the next generation, And gradually soon to be looking forward for its new hybrid.

Well, Its absolutely a right way to go for the new turbocharger Avensis that is 100 percent Toyota concept. And it says that it boost for the power output of around 140 HP in road specification to 300-plus HP.

The new version of Dynojet Race team is the ‘Next Generation Touring Car,’ That you will totally impressed with the capacity to travel in a very fast and convenient mood.

Looks nice. What could be really interesting was, if this prompted Toyota to make a turbo charged version of the road car, with around 200-250 horsepower. Maybe put in AWD as well. BTW the NA version of the 2.0 has 152 hp. Not 140 as stated in the article.

Well, this one is actually rather good. They have really improved on the car’s performance. This will definitely give Dynojet a good chance for this season.

This one really looks like an early contender for the Championship. But then again, I have yet to see the specs of the other cars, so I really don’t have any idea of its chances.
