2012 Toyota Yaris Hybrid

Toyota is about to add another model to its hybrid line-up and, no surprise here, it’s based on the company’s best sold model on the European market: the Yaris . The new Yaris Hybrid is set to make its world debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March with sales in Europe beginning shortly thereafter.

The new Yaris Hybrid will be powered by the first downsizing of Toyota’s HSD powertrain that combines a new 1.5 liter petrol engine with a lighter, more compact electric motor, transaxle, inverter, and battery pack. This new system is about 20% lighter than that of the engine found in the Auris Hybrid and will deliver a total of 100 HP. It will be mated to a standard automatic transmission.

Next to having a hybrid powertrain, the new Yaris Hybrid will also be offered with an exclusive, aerodynamically efficient exterior design. This means it will have a new, more assertive Under Priority trapezoid opening frontal design element with the Keen Look design implemented on the front lamps.

More details about the new Yaris Hybrid will be unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned.

Making this hybrid was such a functional notion.

Hybrid is one powerful factor which would make it popular.

Whether it’s attractive or not, it’s still a Hybrid. It’s not the issue, by the way. This must be a best-seller around the world.

The fact that it’s a hybrid already makes me content. On its look, whatever Toyota has done to it made it more captivating.

The exclusive design sounds appealing. In my opinion, it will enhance its appearance.

This new model version of Toyota looks very professional and neat on the body paint. This has a strong presence on the road making it very attractive to everyone out there.

2012 Toyota Yaris Hybrid has an exclusive aerodynamically efficient exterior design. The hybrid power train of this compact car is pretty amazing.

It has a good platform design especially the cool headlamps of it. The interior looks is very spacious and the dashboard seems to be good on style.

The exterior is overall good, and it’s very spacious inside. The interior seems comfortable, but the dashboard seems simple.

I’d rather buy this Yaris Hybrid rather than Auris Hybrid because its engine is more lighter and have a higher horse power. It has an attractive headlights with trapezoid design and high driving dynamics.

It’s a must have car for this year, especially now that Toyota launches a new car that will add in the line-up of hybrid cars this 2012, the Toyota Yaris Hybrid. Its exterior design was built based on aerodynamics. It could be the best-seller this year.

I will surely stay tuned on this article. Anyway, I am not that impressed on its engine specification. 100HP? Seems too low. Moreover, the exterior outlook of this is very beautiful.
