As with most editions, the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed was packed with lots of action as hundreds of classic and modern sports and race cars stormed up the iconic Hill. With so many cool vehicles gathered in England, picking a favorite is next to impossible. However, I must confess some of the Ferraris stole my heart this time, especially one particular LaFerrari that caught the eye with its unique exterior paint.

Unlike other LaFerraris showcased during various events since launch, which were mainly painted in the company’s famous Rosso Corsa, this example roared in Goodwood in a bright-green suit. The hue is definitely a show stopper, but what makes it even more impressive is its uniqueness among "regular" LaFerraris, which can only be ordered in either red, yellow or black. If you’re a bit puzzled, then you should know that the owner of this LaFerrari is no other than Jay Kay, Jamiroquai’s front man.

I have no idea in regard as to how he managed to order the LaFerrari in green — I’m guessing he opted for a bespoke program — but considering he already owns an F40 and an Enzo , the Italian company would be crazy to deny any of his requests. All told, Jay Kay is the proud owner of a LaFerrari that just screams for attention. A refreshing break from the regular, red-painted Prancing Horses.

The Lamborghini Huracan is pretty fast. Actually, it’s 204-mph fast. It’s the kind of speed that few cars in this world can only dream of attaining. And yet, the Huracan makes it look so easy. That’s when you know that the Italian supercar is another feather in the cap of Lamborghini.

In this video, we get to see exactly why the Huracan is being praised to high heavens. Visual and audio evidences are there to showcase just how fast and powerful this new Lamborghini is. See all the cars it leaves behind without even breaking sweat? That’s 610 of horsepower swag, right there.

And the sound, oh my the sound. Turn up the volume for a few seconds and close your eyes. The only thing you’ll hear is the sound of the Huracan’s 5.2-liter, V-10 engine clearing its throat and belting out a raging mix of power and pace.

The only problem we have is the fact that this asshat chose a public road to perform this feat. Look, if you can afford a Huracan, chances are an hour of track time is not outside of your budget. Please don’t attempt to drive at these speeds on public roads, folks, it’s a disaster just waiting to happen.

You surely remember Subaru’s record-breaking run at the Isle of Man TT we covered on June 21st. The seven minutes of video evidence is pure driving nirvana as we watch Mark Higgins battle his way around the open road course and around the turns along the hilly British island. Well, Subaru has released two more videos surrounding the event, with one being the full, uncut point-of-view shot seen above, and an in-depth look into the changes made to the 2015 WRX STI (below the jump).

The video above is nearly entrancing as you watch the quaint British countryside fly past at 160 mph through the STI’s windshield. Adding to the fun is a voiceover of Higgins walking us through his techniques and inside info on his run. Graphic readouts of his heart rate, temperature, breaths per minute, G forces, speed, and position around the course.

Below the jump, Subaru’s National Manager Dominick Infante runs through the many updates the team did to the otherwise stock 2015 Subaru WRX STI . Among other things, the team added new tires, brake pads, coilover shocks, a straight-pipe exhaust system, GPS trackers, and removed the electronic top speed limiter. For safety, the car gets a roll cage, fire suppression system, a racing seat, and a five-point safety harness.

For almost every racing game, there is a great hero car. For the classic Need for Speed: Most Wanted it was the BMW M3 GTR, for Gran Turismo 1 & 2 it was the Nissan GT-R , and now for the upcoming Forza Horizon 2 it will be the all-new Lamborghini Huracan.

Lamborghini ’s newest car replaces the Gallardo , the best-selling car Lamborghini has ever created, and it features an uprated version of the V-10 found in its predecessor. The exact car that players will be chasing after in the new Forza Horizon game is the Huracan LP 610-4 and it will be wearing a shade dubbed Midas Yellow.

If the new Forza Horizon follows the same series of events as the first Horizon game, players will start the game in a low-level car and be tasked with racing your way into ever faster cars by beating rivals and challenges. Your final rival will be driving the new Huracan.

In another milestone occasion for Turn 10 Studios, this will be the first time a digital version of the Huracan is available to drive in any game. Look for Forza Horizon 2 to hit the Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles later this fall.

Having 15 million Facebook fans is no small thing for an automotive company. Recently, Ferrari broke through that mark and as a sign of appreciation for its 15 million — and counting — Facebook fans, the Italian automaker decided to dedicate a lap in the Ferrari LaFerrari to all of them.

It’s not a typical hat-tip gesture, but it’s the kind that only a company like Ferrari can think of. The two-minute video was shot through Google Glass and gives a unique point of view on what a LaFerrari lap looks like when you’re riding shotgun and Rafaelle de Simone, Head of Development Ferrari Test Drivers, sitting behind the wheel.

Speaking of reaching 15 million fans, Ferrari is in elite company. We did a quick check on Facebook and discovered that of the major automakers in the world, only BMW has more Facebook fans (or ’likes," depending on how you describe it) at almost 17.77 million likes. Ferrari’s now at 15,021,085 likes so it still has a ways to go before it can catch BMW in that regard.

But hey, 15 million fans is an achievement in itself, and like only Ferrari can, it showed its love for its fans in about as unique a way as it could.

Well if you have a boss who prefers it when you actually get some work done, close this window immediately. What we have here for you now is a LIVE FEED of the Goodwood Festival of Speed . So far today I have seen NASCAR racers burn rubber up the entire hill, listened to a classic Alfa bounce off the rev limiter, and I just watched a vintage Mercedes get stuffed into the hay bails.

Goodwood is one of the greatest spectacles of the automotive world, and this is the closest you can get to it without a plane ticket. Now stop what you are doing, crank the volume on those speakers to 11 and press "play." When Fiat Chrysler executives were spilling the beans last May about the big-picture-plans concerning nearly every single product under the corporate umbrella, Ram Trucks CEO Reid Bigland got his turn to divulge future product plans for Ram. Well, it seems we’re only a week away from that first debut.

Ram Trucks released an invitation to a livestream event scheduled for Thursday, June 26th at 11 a.m. EDT. The invitation simply says it’s a “new product announcement.” What exactly Ram is announcing, we can’t be completely sure. However, we have a pretty strong suspicion.

Within last month’s Fiat Chrysler five-year plan layout, Ram was listed as giving a mid-cycle refresh to the Ram 1500 for the 2015 model year. Though we haven’t seen any camouflaged 1500s roaming the streets, we’re sure this will be topic on the 26th.

Like always, the heavy-duty lineup gets its refresh the following year — and Fiat Chrysler’s plan follows that pattern. The Ram 1500’s refresh for 2015 will serve to keep the truck selling big numbers until its next scheduled generation change in 2017. Then the HD cycle starts over again with new 2500 and 3500 trucks rolling out in 2018.

The next-generation BMW 7 Series has just been spied testing on the Nurburgring . Although it has yet to drop its camouflage, which makes sense considering the launch date is at least one year away, the upcoming 7 Series is shaping up into quite the nimble sedan .

Granted, the 7 Series is not the kind of car you’d expect to see on the ’Ring on a daily basis, but the Germans are planning to turn the full-size car into a "Green Hell" regular. BMW ’s intentions toward setting new standards in the luxury class with the 2016 7 Series are already a fact, so we might as well get used to seeing the sedan burn some rubber on the Nordschleife.

The next 7 Series will face stiff competition from the Audi A8 and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class , and track testing will only help improve the Bimmer’s driving dynamics. With BMW shaving about 450 pounds off its curb weight by means of lightweight construction and carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic parts, track testing is crucial in the process of establishing a well-balanced recipe for the road. The next 7 Series might be more of a driver’s BMW than any of its predecessors.

For those of you who’ve been living with wolves since the beginning of 2014, the Camaro Z/28 is a little slice of heaven and hell rolled into one slab of rolling metal. It’s handling it out of this word, the braking system is supercar -like, and its 7.0-liter V-8 churns out 505 horses and emits a growl that may frighten young children and high-end sports cars. We have learned plenty about the 2014 Camaro Z/28 in the past few months, but not every tiny detail has been covered by press releases and other reviews online. That all changes with this new review from YouTube user Saabkyle04, who takes the time to dig into some of the more intricate details on the new Camaro track monster.

So often us media folks get a little bit blinded by the insane power, ostentatious luxury , or ridiculous handling of cars we review, and we overlook the little things. Saabkyle04 took the time to show us the finer details like the door panels, frameless rearview mirror, lightweight rear seat, Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel and seats, and much more.

He really dug deep to bring all of the Camaro Z/28’s key features to the surface and really give potential buyers information they need to know, while saving them a trip to the dealership.

The original Prius hit the streets of America back in 2000 with its Corolla -like looks and a funky hybrid-electric drive that was unlike anything else on U.S. roads except the two-seat Honda Insight. That first-generation Prius was replaced in 2004 with the familiar hunchback turtle look we’re all used to. The second generation is where Toyota really gained ground with hybrid sales, moving over 600,000 cars before the third-generation Prius took over in 2009. With the new model, the Prius gained a few reshaped exterior panels and a more futuristic interior while retaining is stellar fuel economy numbers. Since then, Toyota has moved over 710,000 third-gen cars.

I recently found myself behind the wheel of a 2014 Toyota Prius with the “Three Model” option package. One level up from the base model my tester came equipped with some nice features like a 6.1-inch touch screen in the center dash, Sirius XM radio, navigation, Toyota’s smart key entry and start system, and power windows. But despite those features, the car still felt very basic. Cloth seats, a rubber steering wheel, manual seats, and hard plastics everywhere kept the car feeling rather down-market.

Besides the interior’s shortcomings, the Prius performed just as you’d expect: slow and efficient. So does the car live up to all the hype that’s been following it all these years? Click past the jump to find out.
