The German tuner Sport-Wheels has unveiled a new tuning package for the Volkswagen Golf VI R hatchback. The package includes optimized control electronics (799 euros) connected to a special hand-made exhaust system covered in carbon (starting from 1,950 euros). The exhaust is equipped with Downpipe starting from a turbo inclusive 200 cells Kats with final pipes in 83 mm in diameter. The result is an output of 330 HP and 450 Nm of torque as opposed to the standard 270 HP and 350 Nm. Next to the engine upgrades, the package also includes a new set of springs and a set of 20" in flat black or silver starting from 2,849 euros with special lacquer finish in red and a front surface in-car color starting from 4,039 euros. I refer the standard look of the Golf. Well, its nice that this tuning company have boost the engine performance of the car.
Awww, what happened to its tire marks? I haven’t seen its interiors but I am disappointed with its exteriors. A huge disaster made by volks.
Does anyone out there know if they will bring all the Abarth variations to the US when they start selling the 500 here? (next year?)
Surely those silly wheels are too big to be any kind of performance upgrade? The 330PS is of course. I wonder how much power you’d need to do really small-radius AWD donuts in that car?
