Volkswagen is extending their lineup of compact crossovers with a new special edition model that offers owners a sense of personalized style straight from the factory called the Tiguan Track & Avenue. This customized VW Tiguan features a few subtle exterior modifications made from high quality materials like custom leather upholstery as well as a set of stylish split five spoke alloys measuring 19 inches in diameter to complete the CUV’s sporty look for the European market, and it starts at only 38,225 Euro.

The new Tiguan Track & Avenue can be had in either Oryx White or Island Grey but both with a glittering Pearl Effect in the clear coat to make these cars shine. But the real attitude comes in to play with the Tiguan’s off road inspired body parts, like a set of subtle wheel arches and a raked front bumper complete with polished aluminum skid plate that juts up at a 25 degree angle to take on whatever stands in your way. Speaking of knocking things over, it won’t be difficult thanks to the Tiguan’s 200 HP turbocharged 2.0 Liter TSI four cylinder or if range is what you are after there are also a pair of diesels ranging from 140 HP to 170 HP if alternative fuels are your thing. The best part about the new Track & Avenue is that the package offers a price advantage of over 2,000 Euro than if you optioned out the car at the dealer. How come they get all the good cars?

The new Tiguan Track & Avenue rides on standard 19-inch “Savannah” alloy wheels, and it offers a price advantage of over 2,000 Euros when all of its elegant and stylish features are considered. Two special exterior colours are being offered on this very expressive off-roader: “Oryx White Pearl Effect” and “Island Grey Pearl Effect”. The package also includes a 25 degree off-road front end, modest wheel flares and a silver-coloured diffuser.

The first-class equipment continues in the interior. The new Tiguan Track & Avenue has exclusive leather upholstery - “Heavy Waxy” in Amaranth - whose softness and durability make it one of the highest grade leathers. In addition, there are sport seats, an RCD 510 radio with Dynaudio sound system, “Climatronic” climate control and a leather-trimmed multifunction steering wheel with coloured seams. The package is rounded out with front fog lights and Bi-Xenon headlights with dynamic curve lighting.

Volkswagen Tiguan Track & Avenue

The Tiguan Track & Avenue can be ordered in four engine-transmission combinations, all of them with a 6-speed gearbox. For example, the 2.0 TSI engine (147 kW / 200 PS) may be combined with a manual or automatic transmission. Two diesel engines with 2.0 l displacement complete the programme: the 103 kW / 140 PS engine paired with an automatic and the more powerful variant with a manual gearbox and 125 kW / 170 PS. Prices for the new Tiguan Track & Avenue begin at 38,225 Euros for the 2.0 l TSI with manual gearbox.

@Adam_Valentine: Volkswagen do have good cars, though I’d agree not all. I think the only problem on Volkswagen AUV and SUV’s are the engine HP. You may find it slow because most of the cars have lower than 250mph speed.

This SUV looks good and powerful except the interior. I think they should mix gray on white or black. The appearance of the car is above average, I’m not sure about the speed.

Got all good cars? I don’t think so. I mean not all their cars are that good but they have good mechanics and engineers to plan out a good concept. What I like about Volkswagen is the interior features where on this Tiguan, it has a climate system that’s really good when the winter season comes.

Frankly, out of the current crossover crop which has assaulted the market, the Volkswagen Tiguan is one of my favorite, even though it hasn’t really turned into a fabulous best seller for the German company.

It’s like a hungry jaguar that may kill everyone, really like the body form and also one of the highlights of this car were the body parts which is exclusive for this car. As of the performance is concern, "above average".

Even when you buy a compact SUV, it’s nice to have the option of some luxury toys. And car makers like to offer range-topping cars with lots of toys added and throw a new moniker in to the mix.
