Next to the Golf R Convertible Concept, Volkswagen also chose to unveil the Golf GTI Cabriolet concept at the Wörthersee Show 2011. This concept is a convertible variation of the Golf GTI, and although no details we given as to what will be found under the hood of the model, we expect to see the same 2.0-liter turbocharged TSI engine as found in the Golf GTI 35 Anniversary Edition, producing a total output of 235 HP. Besides removing the roof in order to make the Golf GTI a convertible, this concept car also features a bespoke aero kit which includes a new front bumper, a GTI grille with red accents, a rear diffuser with a honeycomb grille and unique exhaust tail pipes on either side, a new front spoiler, extended wheel arches, and side sills. All of these features are painted in a piano black hue and offer an impressive contrast with the car’s red exterior paint. The final touch is given by a new set of five spoke alloy wheels. .

 Well, I just only hope that it would also have a very efficient and powerful engine so that it will really have a complete package for a cabriolet vehicle. I hope as well that it won’t stay as a concept.
 It looks so luscious on its body paint, and it is really noticeable on that! Well, I hope that it won’t stay as a concept only, and I would truly wait for the market production of this.
 I noticed that even if this concept car is on a simple detailing and styling, they are still looking so classy and elegant, just like this new coupe of them. Anyway, this one looks so fun to drive with.
 This cabriolet concept is truly so striking on its simple detailing, and I must say that it is also looking very sexy on its body paint.  Anyway, its 235 horsepower is kind of impressive on it.
 A very striking concept! I would surely be looking forward to seeing this on the market. Anyway, what will be the figure performance of this one, I hope it was quite impressive either.
 It is one of the most impressive cabriolet concepts that I saw! When will be the definite date of the debut of this one? I’m so excited to see this one in person, and I noticed that it seems so fun to drive.
 It looks so elegant in its sleek body paint, and I must say that it is already looking great on that color, but 235 horsepower is I think don’t give a better performance on this one.
 I love the simple appearance of this cabriolet concept. It doesn’t need lots of detailing because it’s already looking so perfect! I just think that they should enhance the figure performance of this one.
