2011 Volkswagen Golf GTI Reifnitz

Volkswagen came at the GTI Treffen show in Worthersee with three impressive concept cars. But the most impressive Golf GTI in the show was one developed by Volkswagen Coaching in cooperation to APR. The model is called Golf GTI Reifnitz and develops an impressive 370 HP from the usual 2.0 TSI engine.

The model features a special paint design and an aero styling developed by the VW Coaching team. The interior is also extremely detailed, but the most impressive work was made under the hood. The team opted for an APR Stage III Turbocharger System, APR Intercooler and APR RSC RSC Performance Exhaust. The result is an impressive 370 HP (an impressive update over the standard 215 HP) and a peak torque of 354 lbs-ft.

VW Coaching staff was available throughout the day to answer questions and when asked about power, a quick reach in the glove box brings a dynamometer certification chart of the power and torque delivered by APR’s Stage III Turbocharger System.

UPDATE 06/06/11: We’ve added some new photos of the Volkswagen Golf GTI for your perusal. Do check out the new interior shots in the gallery!

UPDATE 11/21/11: Volkwagen has released a 10-minute video chronicling the build and development of the Golf GTI by Reifnitz. Check out the video after the jump!

It looks great on its white and blue body paint and with its simple graphic design! However, I have just a doubt on its engine. I don’t think that it could bring a striking speed performance on it.

The color is attractive. It will really catch someone’s attention. By the way, it is a hatchback the way I see it, and as I look into it stats, it has a poor performance output with 370hp.

Actually, these new model of Volkswagen is very different on the Volkswagen I’ve seen before. They really improve it’s features and upgrade it’s versions. I like this one, it kinda cute!
