2010 Volvo V60 by Heico Sportiv

When you have a Volvo V60 that you’re looking to have tuned-up by an aftermarket tuning company, the first place you need to go to is Heico Sportiv. As the authorities in modified Volvos - they recently did one for the S60 luxury sedan - the auto tuning house has provided an array of packages for a number of Volvo models throughout the years. With the new 2011 Volvo V60 wagon, Heico Sportiv isn’t about to let up.

Scheduled to debut at the Essen Motor Show, Heico Sportiv gave the V60 an interior and exterior facelift that has effectively turned the V60 from plain and simple to sexy and aggressive-looking. Who would’ve thought that was possible with Volvos?

Heico Sportiv improved the V60 wagon’s exterior by introducing front spoilers made from flexible polyurethane plastic and mounted on the original bumpers, ensuring that the latest pedestrian protection guidelines are met. The same material can also be found in the rear skirt enfolding the left and right oval end-pipes of the quad outlet exhaust system. If you’re not satisfied with this, the tuning firm is also offering matching carbon or alternative stainless steel inlays and a dual-pipe exhaust variant that’s arranged in a ‘left-right’ arrangement.

The interior of the V60 gets high-grade leather on the car’s dashboard, door trims, and center console that’s complimented by aluminum add-ons on the pedal set, gear shit knob, and the footrest. Finishing off the package for the Volvo V60 is the inclusion of sport springs and a set of 18-20” VOLUTION sport wheels.

Press Release after the jump.

Press Release

World premiere for the new Volvo V60 by HEICO SPORTIV at the Essen Motor Show. On top HEICO SPORTIV shows the up to 330 HP strong ver-sion off the new Volvo S60.

Even at a glance, it becomes immediately apparent that HEICO SPORTIV has just the right ingre-dients to stimulate all the observer’s senses! The front view already indulges the onlooker with clear contours thanks to a two-part front spoiler. “We’ve given the Volvo S60 Volvo S60 and V60 the expressiveness which potential owners of such a dynamic vehicle crave for,” explains HEICO SPORTIV General Manager, Holger Hedtke.

Uncompromising in functionality and design

The front spoiler is mounted on the original bumper and melts seamlessly into the entirety of the Volvo S60 and V60’s contours. The design element made of low-weight, flexible polyurethane plastic (PUR-R-RIM) fulfills the latest pedestrian protection guidelines.

At the back, the PUR-R-RIM rear skirt in diffusor look cites the form of a diffusor, faithfully enfolding the left and right oval end-pipes of the quad outlet exhaust system. As an optional add-on, HEICO SPORTIV also offers a matching carbon or alternative a stainless steel inlay. For vehicles with the original rear skirt, a dual-pipe exhaust variant is available in the familiar “left-right arrangement”.

Manifold innovation under the hood

The essential ingredients, however, are the ECU upgrades offered by HEICO SPORTIV. With the D3, D5 and D5 AWD diesel engines, these are implemented by reprogramming the engine control unit, with gasoline engines by means of e.motion.

HEICO SPORTIV e.motion stands for “efficiency in motion” and describes an additional engine control unit that, thanks to straightforward “plug & play technology”, can be quickly installed and enabled by any authorized HEICO SPORTIV partner – worldwide!

Thanks to e.motion, the Volvo S60 2.0T generates a colossal 47 bhp more than its series-produced counterpart (currently 250 bhp/184 kW) and a maximum torque of 350 Nm (additional 50 Nm). In the 4-wheel drive version of the Volvo S60 T6, the engine power is boosted to 330 bhp (243 kW) and 460 Nm, allowing the top-of-the-range model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds (series version: 6.5 seconds) and reach a maximum speed of 250 km/h (limited). Naturally, all HEICO SPORTIV ECU upgrades fulfill the rigorous Euro 5 emissions classification standard. Further tuning programs for the T3, T4 and T5 engine variants are under development.

For those with an attentiveness to craftsmanship and timeless design.
HEICO SPORTIV also sets new highlights when it comes to the interior. With perfect craftsmanship, finest quality leather was set and worked with a sure taste for style on the dashboard, door trims and the center console. Supplemented with aluminum add-ons like pedal set, footrest and gear shift knob.

Diversified menu to choose from

HEICO SPORTIV sees itself as a fully integrated supplier able to fulfill the customer’s every wish. The menu is finished off with sport springs and the 18”-20” VOLUTION® sport wheel program.

The world premiere of the Volvo V60 by HEICO SPORTIV will be on display at the booth of Continental at the Essen Motor Show (26th November - 5th December 2010).

The casual looks doesn’t look like promising, but the interior was made almost perfectly. The absolute features of the interior was the best they can offer with this luxurious car.

Seriously, it looks like an Infiniti FX on its exterior detailing. However, it looks more stunning and awesome for me than with FX. It’s a good thing as well that it has an impressive interior.

I hope that they would use an impressive and striking engine for this awesome vehicle of them. Yeah! It truly looks so striking for me. I love the exclusivity of it and even its comfortable interior.

It looks like their XC60, but I must say that the appeal that it had was overwhelming. Anyway, is it with a matte color? I also noticed that it also had an impressive infotainment system.

Market wise, this still one of the real simply elegant car. The interior does provide a very complimented add-ons and special parts that makes the car more exclusively sports looking type car.

Oh gimme a break. What modern Porsche would be embarrassed by this? A base model boxster? Sounds more like an ad or press release than interesting news.
