Video: E-Class Coupe Commercial

The video does it all for a comment. The idea is what brilliant to say ’I love car commercials’..but that is because of those ladies on horses...I could even repeat the commercial from there and not to look at the next screen when the car goes out. Sounds cheesy but the commercial is only good until the car goes out. It’s almost forgettable.

2010 Jaguar XJ first teaser

I have to say, this is a beautiful Jag ever. I think this car will be the best they have made. It has the good, muscular looks of the XF, and the 5.0 L V8 will be amazing. Except that I just hope I will not get disappointed with any changes they make when it rolls out on the showroom floor.

Bertone’s ZR1-based Mantide unveiled

Those wheels are burning my retinas. As for the angular wheel wells, didn’t Lamborghini already do that with the Reventon? I like the idea of creating a new "supercar", but rebodying an existing one doesn’t really accomplish that. I have a feeling this may fizzle out fairly quickly. A lot of hype though.

BMW X6 by Hartge

The body kit does not seem to be very appealing. Although with this two ton diesel sprinter with a top speed of 256 km/h I think Herbert Hartge and his team have pushed the skilful stylistic blend of a four-wheel drive vehicle from the SAV segment and a coupé into a new dimension. His X6 xDrive35d as released earlier in the press release is an extraordinary symbiosis of a high-street thoroughbred and a crossover workhorse. But in the end all i can say is, I like the rims and yes not the body kit.

Maserati GranTurismo MC - new image gallery

Well I think we have to be reminded that Maserati’s list of wins is abundant and it includes a two consecutive wins at the famous Indianapolis 500 in 1939 and in 1940, with Wilbur Shaw at the wheel of the 8CTF "Boyle Special". This year is the 70th anniversary of that first success. Its a class of its own guys having one is definitely a must with 180K before taxes is a reasonable buy.

2010 Jaguar XJ first teaser

Is this a restoration? to upscale the dwindling market of the XJ? But consider the drastic change of the olds car features, isn’t to progressive for the car to get a new market recognition? Thery say it is because the sales in the U.S. are circling low. Now that Indian conglomerate Tata owns Jaguar, the company will need fresh models to spice up the brand. Hopefully it does the work needed.

BMW X6 by Hartge

This is what I got from those who don’t favor the X6 new flavor: "Fender flairs! Fender vents! Grill inserts! Totally unnecessary rear diffuser! Side skirts! Giant wheels! Typical German tooner rubbish. So sad, so very, very sad. Maybe if you ask nicely they’ll chop a big chunk out of the 29,353.94€ asking price and just supply the powertrain upgrades. " What do you think?

Maserati GranTurismo MC - new image gallery

FYI: The new model is an offshoot of the Maserati GranTurismo MC Concept introduced last September in Monza and based on the Maserati GranTurismo S road version, with electro-actuated gearbox system. Sounds interesting for 2010 where Maserati intends to once again organize a European single-make cup race. Like what Lamborghini is doing with its Gallardo Super Trofeo.

Cadillac CTS

39K? You can get a G37 sedan for the less money and it will perform better, look better, will last longer and probably get better mileage. Heck, one could get a 3 series for a little more.

This car would be a good bargain for 30K, not more.

Bertone’s ZR1-based Mantide unveiled

They were saying this is mantis inspired. So for the organic look and aerodynamics features it must agree. The coach looks is admirable work of an artist but I don’t like the wheels. I just find it fit for its sleek slim features.

Bertone’s ZR1-based Mantide unveiled

This ’mantis’, is due to debut at the Shanghai Motor Show this weekend. Of course it will feature custom coachwork that appears both angular and organic, orginal of Stile Bertone’s automotive design.

BMW X6 by Hartge

I got the ’ins’ for this car and it says that the engines have benefited from a bit of ECU (Electronic Control Unit) tuning, the 3.0L Diesel from the xDrive30d. Well for a diesel and of course better fuel injection I would only reserve my comments up tight while we all need that stimulus package to beef up our pockets.

2010 Jaguar XJ first teaser

FYI: This Jags XJ is Jaguar’s restyled version of the slow-selling sedan. In this chapter, long-running Brit traditions are tossed in the dustbin and replaced with a design inspired by the company’s new style indicator, the XF. Now if the Brit can pull this out in the market well, the face lift makes sense after all. That is if it does.
