Video: the motorcycle version of Kobe Bryant’s stunt

It looks like Kobe Bryant has inspired these morons to attempt their own version of the famous “stunt” failed by the famous basketball player. I know, it sounds crazy but between the time this guy got hit and up until he hit the ground, he felt like a sports star…and he lives to crash his body another day.

Video: failed waterfall jump on a jet ski

Usually, when stunts go wrong someone gets seriously hurt, but when water is involved, the natural element sometimes forgives stunt men (women in this case) from the usual ride to the hospital. Take a look at this video showing stunt woman Maria Kelly trying to ride her jet ski off a waterfall and see what happens.

Video: When motorcycle girls go stunt riding

We hear a lot of talk about women being much safer drivers than men, but how does that apply when it comes to motorcycles? Here’s a pretty long video called Motorcycle Stunt Girls – Graceful Perfection. It doesn’t show the professional female stunt riders crashing or anything, but what about those stunts? I guess there’s a black sheep in every flock and we happen to like these ones a lot.

Video: Snowmobiles, more fun than dirt bikes?

We just got across a video that made a question pop up in our minds: are snowmobiles more fun than dirt bikes? They must be if ridden by the craziest guys in Iceland, just as this video reveals. It shows two guys worming up their sleds into a local reservoir and then deciding to climb onto the extremely steep concrete walls, the first up the side of a 30-foot cliff and the second goes for a mind-blowing 70-foot one. You’ll need a breath of fresh air after seeing this and start looking at snowmobiles as to gravity-defying machines. I guess this does make them better than dirt bikes.

Video: 3km wheelie on a BMW R1200GS Adventure

While it may be hard to believe that someone can lift the front end of a fully loaded BMW R1200GS and keep the bike steady for enough distance to call the achievement a wheelie, this video simply blows away all expectations.

It shows a very skilled rider performing a 3km wheelie during the 2.26 minutes video on the Beemer in South Africa. Looking at it, you’re not too far off if suspecting this guy can go like this forever and ever as long as there’s no traffic and the road is nice and straight.

It is things like this that spice up one’s journeys and we really like to see people taking bikes beyond what they thing the limits are.
