The Evel Knievel of hamsters

1. The Evel Knievel of hamsters

Hammy is a hamster who, inspired by daredevil legend Evel Knievel, decided to make his own entry in the treacherous world of motorcycle jumping. Looking at this funny video right here, it is easy to see that faith is kind with the unconscious rodent and he lives to fight another day.

KTM makes fun of paved roads, wins print ad award

DDB&Co Istanbul was commissioned by KTM Turkey with the making of a print ad that ended up bringing an award for the original idea. The ad is for their 250SX motorcycle, a veritable off-roader, so the rider’s behavior is almost justified.

Congratulations KTM for this ad, which reminds us of Aprilia’s…

The Flintstones motorcycle?

We just came across this on the web and look at it as to a prehistoric motorcycle (yes, even though it is actually a bicycle from 1791), especially after reading that it’s form was inspired by animals such as horses, birds and snakes.

Invented by frenchmen, Comte Mede de Sivrac this early precursor of the bicycle => motorcycle had no steering and we can’t see any pedals, so we guess that Fred Barney would easily find its place on it and ride with style.

Silly Harley-Davidson Chinese trike

Although this is not a veritable Harley-Davidson trike, it does stand out as a lame attempt of virtually anything considered to be a mean of transportation. It looks very comfortable, but still too silly for our taste.

P.S. I would really like to see the guy riding this tent motorcycle.

Motorcycle rocket launchers will take you to jail fast! [w/video]

As we have seen in various cases, motorcycle riders are likely to end up in jail with a single too enthusiastic twist of the throttle, but the guy in this video has found an easier way for him to achieve that exact purpose by making his very own motorcycle rocket launchers and fitting them to his Honda CBR600RR motorcycle. As you can suppose, the things flew all over the place, but at least we get the promise of much more accurate shooting for the next videos. Meanwhile, check this one out after the break.

Men’s best friend rides too

Looking at this picture most people will say “I don’t need to wear my glasses to see what’s happening there,” but the fact is that this looks like a very skillful dog at his best. And like all rebel riders, he gave his helmet to the passenger rather than wear it himself.

This reminds me of…

but let’s better leave the touchy subject to the actual guys involved.

Michael Jackson fights Vespa rider Mr. Bean

This video created by Patrick Boivin shows Michael Jackson visibly disturbed by the fact that a certain Mr. Bean, who rides a classic Vespa scooter, is messing around while the King of Pop is practicing his dance routines. They end up getting into a fight like we would have seen in old episodes of “Dexter” and the whole thing is quite funny to watch, especially if you’re a fan of the two celebrities and the Italian scooter that replaces Mr. Bean’s Mini once in a while.

Don Quixote Reloaded with Red Bull

As far as we’re aware, motorcyclists don’t waist their time fighting windmills, so these pictures are just part of a funny way to promote the Red Bull Don Quixote 2 enduro race for couples in Spain. The original idea is quite funny, especially because of the fact that the brave knights look so unenthusiastic about their 1hp. We have also attached the trailer after the jump.

125cc Honda scooter is London’s street washing machine

Little did Honda knew that one of their 125cc scooters will end up a tool for washing dog filth off the streets of London, but this picture says it all. GB imported the Honda street washing machine from France; it seems that the idea of such a utility vehicle was first put into practice back in the Eighties in Paris.

A water vacuum system and a 25-litre box set it apart from its standard siblings, but also the £12,000 ($19,981) price. Just make sure you don’t confuse it with a pizza bike because that can kill your appetite.

Stealth trike gets Corvette mill!

Those with a soft spot for trikes can finally fulfill their passion without getting into trouble. What you see here is a three-wheeled vehicle that looks like the Stealth bomber, allowing us to suppose that the cops won’t be right on your tail once you give that Corvette engine some juice. Called the Cheetah, this is one of the most unusual trikes we have seen lately and it is powered by a fuel-injected, Corvette LS-1, mid-engine V8, which is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission, meaning that this unique cat is not as hard to master as you would think.

From obvious reasons, this project started from a brand new chassis made of stainless steel, while the aluminum bodywork with hydraulic tilt is what actually gets the peoples attention, apart from the fact that it takes as much parking space as an SUV.
