2012 Aprilia SX 125

The Aprilia SX 125 draws inspiration from the innovative SXV and RXV models. The motorcycle was especially designed for the young riders who search for a rugged bike which is ready to cope with both city and off-road riding.

The SX 125 sits on 17 inch wheels shod in sport tires and is built on a strong frame. Power comes from a single cylinder unit developed using Aprilia’s experience in motorcycle racing. One of the unique features of the engine is its cylinder which is made of nickel silicon carbide (Nikasil) liner. Lubrication is provided by a separate mixer system.

The stopping power is handled by a front 260 mm disc and a two-piston floating caliper and a rear 220 mm disc combined with another floating piston.

On the other hand, the suspension includes a 40 mm upside down telescopic fork and a rear long steel swingarm.
