For the second straight year, the Aprilia RS 125 was awarded the title of Bike of the Year. Among those who voted for the winner of the “125” category were almost 94,000 readers of twelve different European magazines, among them Italy’s In Moto that preferred the RS 125 to the Cagiva Mito and the Yamaha YZF-R 125, awarding it 27.6% of votes.

Benny Carlson accepted the Supermoto Unlimited championship at this year’s AMA Pro Racing Awards Banquet, with the same style and grace that he brings to the race track. The now two time Unlimited champion took the Aprilia SXV 550 to the podium 7 times, including 5 first place finishes, to earn the 2007 Championship.

Italian legend Giacomo Agostini will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s Legend of the Motorcycle Concours.
Agostini, known to millions of fans worldwide as “Ago”, is the world’s greatest motorcycle grand prix racer with 15 Grand Prix World Championship titles. While fellow Italian and World Champion racer Valentino Rossi is close on his heels in terms of career titles, no one has yet to match Ago’s incredible record on the track.
