The Buell "Super TT TRICK-OUT" contest, launched November 14, gives riders the opportunity to create their own artwork for Buell’s newest motorcycle – the Buell Lightning Super TT XB12STT – and possibly win the first production Super TT to roll off the assembly line. Bilansky rides Buell to ASRA Thunderbike crown at Daytona

Hal’s H-D/Buell-Hal’s Speed Shop rider Dan Bilansky executed a perfect last-lap pass to win the American Sportbike Racing Association (ASRA) Thunderbike National Championship at the 23rd Annual Daytona Race of Champions at Daytona International Speedway. Bilansky, riding a Buell Firebolt XB12R, passed BMW rider Nate Kern to win the Thunderbike National race by about one bike length to claim the season championship by a single point. Buell looks forward to femmoto 2006

Women will have the chance to demo Buell motorcycles at the fifth annual two-day demo event, Femmoto. On October 7 and 8 women will be taking over the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and will test ride motorcycles from multiple manufacturers such as the full lineup of Buell motorcycles. Buell XB12X and Queensryche on Charity Ride

The legendary metal band Queensryche is riding across America on a Buell Ulysses XB12X motorcycle for a charity event. They will try to raise money for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation during their upcoming tour, which begins August 25. Queensrÿche’s fan will have the opportunity to join singer Geoff Tate and guitarist Mike Stone on a ride on their Buell Ulysses motorcycles between select tour stops on the tour. 2007 Buell Lightning XB12S

This is Lightning in its purest form. The Thunderstorm 1203 V-Twin engine pounds out 84 ft. lbs. of torque, a mountain of power made more tractable by the Buell InterActive Exhaust. The short, 52-inch wheelbase gives the XB12S the reflexes of a tailback. A coarse-texture seat and athletic riding position offer outstanding control.
