Having signed with Tech 3 Yamaha for 2010, Ben Spies will run his very first Yamaha MotoGP bike at Valencia during the final round of the MotoGP World Championship and his new team has just come up with this absolutely superb Sterilgarda paintjob for the occasion.
Spies won the 2009 World Superbike Championship for Yamaha, while his best result in MotoGP is a 6th place at Indianapolis in 2008, when he was racing for Suzuki.
Travis Pastrana is a busy man promoting the high octane show Nitro Circus set to tour Australia from May, 2010. We’ve recently seen the US daredevil backflip and tear apart the DC Shoe Bike and yesterday he jumped over a hovering helicopter in Sydney close to the Harbour Bridge. What more?

Last Saturday, Brad Pitt, who was riding one of his custom motorcycles on the streets of Beverly Hills, was implicated in a minor crash with a car. The Hollywood star got through it with only a few scratches and although the bike was towed from the scene, it looked like it could have been ridden to the shop without problems.
Of course, paparazzi were on duty and there have even been speculations about a paparazzo hitting Pitt from behind and causing him to crash, but the most plausible scenario is that Brad was riding between a parked car and a car stopped at a red light when he clipped the parked car with the handlebar and crashed at slow speed.
After the crash, the caring biker inspected his motorcycle and talked to the other party involved. When the tow truck arrived, he walked away. See it all in the videos attached after the break.
We can’t help but wonder what Angelina Jolie has to say about this.
MotoGP star Valentino Rossi gives fans the opportunity to see him in intimate postures on his new website www.valentinorossi.com. Whether he is sleeping, relaxing with the cows or even wearing boxer shorts on his head after doing the laundry, Valentino shows how MotoGP riders have to enjoy every second of their free time so that they can give even the impossible out on the racing track.
The site was also created to offer news, videos and photos (including behind-the-scenes) of Valentino Rossi from every GP round, so it should keep fans pretty hooked up.
The words that we used for the title belong to Jorge Lorenzo and are probably the most touching from this entirely excellent video, which is actually made by combining two different interviews taken to Jorge Lorenzo and his father during two different periods of the MotoGP rider’s life. In the first, the skilled youngster talks about his ambition to become a World MotoGP Champion, while the second presents him as a successful MotoGP rider, but still with the ultimate goal on his mind, the same one as nine years ago.
Life is all about following your dreams and Jorge Lorenzo has clearly learned that from a very young age, but it’s always nice to return in Mallorca, Spain and get back on the old big wheel off-road kid’s bike and have some pictures taken with the kids training there. See the video after the break.
Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. (EPE) and Graceland Harley-Davidson have teamed up to offer a special edition Street Glide and so commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Elvis Presley’s Las Vegas comeback in 1969.
Featuring a unique paint scheme created by O’s Custom Paint in Memphis, the Vegas Elvis Harley-Davidson Street Glide shows images from the 57 live performances that took place in only four weeks, while the billet alloy wheels, custom seat and LED lighting are meant to stay in tone with this bike’s touch of exclusivity. And with only five such machines built and a $50,731.69 price, every single bike is as exclusive as it could get.
Also, each one comes with a painted and numbered (like the bike) St Blues Bluesmaster guitar, so there will be five more kings of rock ‘n” roll out there.
Given the fact that the motorcycle press has long shown the reverse-cylinder 2010 Yamaha YZ450F and, implicit, destroyed the maker’s element of surprise regarding this model, Yamaha has come up with a video showing James Steward as the inside man answering to ridiculous rumors heard by Yamaha employees, including Jorge Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi and James Toseland.
The video is supposed to create some buzz about this new model and to announce the launch date – September 8th.
Is it for real or is he acting? That’s the first question that goes through someone’s head when hearing about Justin Timberlake mounting and riding a custom Harley-Davidson motorcycle. But it’s for real. The 28-year-old celebrity was pictured as a Harley bad boy just yesterday after lunching at Italian restaurant Cafe Med in Los Angeles. He was also wearing a very shiny half-helmet and a jacket from his fashion label, William Rast.

Actor Lorenzo Lamas, best known by the motorcycle world thanks to the Renegade series from the 1990s, has teamed up with Ralph Randolph of Knockout Motorcycles to form a new motorcycle company named Lorenzo Lamas Cycles.
Master builder Ralph Randolph will make possible the designs imagined by Lamas and the bikes build by LLC will be based on production frames and will reportedly be powered by Twin Cam engines from S&S.
Four motorcycle renderings have already been released and you can check them out in our photo gallery. Cool, huh? Even cooler is the fact that the Reno Rocket and the Badlands Bomber will make their public debut this week at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
