Fond du Lac, WI — The 2007 Ride for Pride 100-mile motorcycle ride and fund-raiser will be held Saturday, April 28, departing from the Fond du Lac Holiday Inn at noon. Jon Tichy, a 16-year-old from Hibbing, Minnesota, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, had a big wish and that wish is now underway. A Jay Leno autographed Harley Davidson motorcycle will be raffled off at the Patricia A. Parete Fundraiser on March 31. The money raised will go to Buffalo Police officer Patty Parete who was shot in the line of duty. Parete was shot December 5th, along with her partner Officer Carl Andolina, when they responded to a routine call in downtown Buffalo. Parete is currently in a rehab facility in New Jersey.
