GEICO Motorcycle joined together with PNC Bank and Price Waterhouse Coopers in 2006 to bring the metropolitan DC community a unique family event, Bikers for Tykes. Benelli is launching a new international event to promote their brand and motorbikes on the South American stage.
Benelli is currently co-operating with the Italian Police, through their association “Motoforpeace”, in their new charity mission aimed at helping the children of Ecuador.

RIVERBANK — Growing participation in an annual motorcycle ride from Modesto to the Mother Lode Fairgrounds has created longer delays for traffic headed through town and into the mountains the first weekend of June.
To quell complaints, Sierra Hope Ride organizers are working with police and the California Highway Patrol, promising that a tighter pack will move through Modesto, Riverbank and Oakdale faster than in past years.

The second annual Supercross Triple Charity for Children’s Hospital & Regional Medical Center is scheduled for the last week of April in conjunction with the Amp’d Mobile Supercross race at Qwest Field, and Washington native Ryan Villopoto and Kawasaki teammate Timmy Ferry will make a special appearance to support the fundraising event.

Fond du Lac, WI — The 2007 Ride for Pride 100-mile motorcycle ride and fund-raiser will be held Saturday, April 28, departing from the Fond du Lac Holiday Inn at noon.
Festivities get underway on Friday night, April 27, with a pre-ride party at Open Road Harley-Davidson located on Rolling Meadows Drive, just south of Hwy. 23.
Riders and participants can preregister at Open Road Friday night and also 9-10 a.m. at open Road and 10-11:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn.

Jon Tichy, a 16-year-old from Hibbing, Minnesota, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, had a big wish and that wish is now underway.
Jon wanted a Yamaha ATV and a big game hunting trip, and thanks to the efforts of Wishes & More, a non-profit organization out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Jon received a Yamaha 350 Grizzly ATV and a Colorado hunting trip with former Minnesota Twins first baseman Kent Hrbek.

A Jay Leno autographed Harley Davidson motorcycle will be raffled off at the Patricia A. Parete Fundraiser on March 31.
The money raised will go to Buffalo Police officer Patty Parete who was shot in the line of duty.
Parete was shot December 5th, along with her partner Officer Carl Andolina, when they responded to a routine call in downtown Buffalo.
Parete is currently in a rehab facility in New Jersey. Her family and friends say she is doing well.
